Services
Dr. Newell's staff is comprised of career people who are service oriented and finely trained in their skills. While Dr. Newell has been in private practice for over eighteen years, his employees have been with the office for a remarkable average of eight years. The entire staff is dedicated to always being thorough, knowledgeable, courteous, professional, and on time.
Our main office is conveniently located at 4750 Old William Penn Highway. It can be found on the corner of School Road and Old William Penn Highway. If you need further assistance with directions, please call our office at (724) 327-8080 during business hours and our receptionist will be happy to provide directions.
Dr. Newell has been a specialist in Orthodontics for over 20 years. Dr. Newell graduated second in his class from the University of Pittsburgh's School of Dental Medicine. He was also elected into membership of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society. Following graduation, he was one of five students accepted into Pitt's specialty program in Orthodontics where he received a master's degree and certificate in Orthodontics.
An ever-increasing amount of adults have discovered the benefits of orthodontic treatment in our office. Many may say "I'm too old for braces", but this is simply not the case. As long as your teeth are supported by healthy gums and bone you may be a candidate for our care. If you have ever been unhappy with any aspect of your smile, do not hesitate to schedule an evaluation in our office.
While we will take excellent care of your child, we also believe that treatment should have an aspect of fun involved. Orthodontics requires cooperation and a motivated, enthusiastic child will make the best patient. We currently offer metal braces in two different colors: traditional silver and a light shade of gold.

Dr. Newell and his staff are fabulous!! They are efficient, knowledgeable and very friendly. The receptionist, Angela at the front counter was great with reminder calls, scheduling appointments and a welcoming smile! Lets not forget to mention...Michael's teeth look AMAZNG!! My family has been going to Dr Newell for orthodontic care for many years (myself and two siblings) and every time is a great experience. The office staff is extremely friendly and responsive. My visits were always quick and painless. Dr Newell was very committed to making my teeth look perfect and the results far exceed my initial expectations. Would recommend a thousand times over!

Dr. Newell and his entire office staff are the most caring and professional people that you will ever meet! From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted with a warm welcome and feel comfortable the whole entire time of your visit. Everyone in the office is kind and friendly. Dr. Newell explains your treatment plan and he is just the nicest, most pleasant person. I have had three of my boys with Dr. Newell and they all enjoyed going to see him, like him, and never once complained about any orthodontist visit, imagine that! My boys have a beautiful smile that they do not mind sharing now

Two of our kids have now completed treatment with Dr. Newell and his staff. I always recommend them not only because they are, of course, nice and very good at smiles, but also because they are exceptionally efficient. Orthodontia requires a lot of appointments, and this team makes visits and scheduling easy.

Dr. Newell treated both of our kids for braces. The entire staff - from the front desk, technicians and back office support - is cheerful, helpful and wonderful to work with. Dr. Newell does a wonderful job communicating with parents and treats the kids well. The office stays on time for appointments, which is a refreshing change. I would recommend this office to anyone.
