Eyes weren't dialated as they usually did, after getting glasses found that I couldn't see properly, took back and they only "adjusted", still problems seeing and they say I need to get used to prescription, but shouldn't have blurred vision. Evidently eyeglass script wrong. Still they won't accept that they made mistake. Buyer beware!

Ruined several people's eye sites including my own grandmother's. Would never recommend.

I make an appointment at one building and they set it up for a Building on the other side of the county. I paid for scratch resistant and glare resistant and got neither. It also took me 3 days to even get my glasses because I work a 9 to 5:00 job and so do they.

I broke my glasses, I ordered a replacement pair online, didn't want to go into the store during covid. I didn't know how to upload the prescription (that doesn't expire until the end of the month) so they said they would call Houser Newman to get a copy of the prescription. The optical center told them it already expired. My order was canceled. I'll find a new Doctor, very unprofessional.

I made an appointment a year ago after my last exam. They text me 6 hours before my appointment and tell me they are cancelling it and to call back and reschedule. When I call I'm told my doctor won't be in today and another is on maternity leave but I could get a new appointment for 3 months from now. Thanks a lot, I guess repeat patients aren't appreciated.

Never ending shakedown. Had no issue for years. Accepts eye coverage but makes it up as they go. Forces you to make appointments for everything(my glasses are there but I can't pick them up for 3 weeks) because they don't want too many people waiting yet you sit waiting anyway.

I'm only rating this with 2 stars because of my experience at my glasses fitting. They didn't have me on their list and questioned me about my appointment repeatedly like I was a liar. Then when I was finally seen (even tho I was the FIRST appointment) I took my mask off because how can you be fitted for glasses with a mask on? She treated me like I had the plague and told me I MUST wear my mask at all times. Ok, but I just gave you a paper that says I have no fever and I haven't been around anyone who tested positive for covid. So, after being treated like this I finally get my glasses and leave

I needed an eye exam, vision test and tear duct plugs. I've had these done before at 2 other doctors offices over the years and both places did all 3 things in one day in a 45 minute office visit and one office copay.
Here they did the exam, scheduled the vision test and tear duct plugs for 2 other appointments after the first appointment. Now it would be 2- $30 office copays and a same day surgery copay. Mine is about $200 so instead of 1 visit totaling $30 it would be 3 visits for approximately $260. I asked what the cash price is (in case I'm responsible for the entire bill) and billing does

The older male Doctor was pompous and rude to me and my son. He treated us as though we were not only beneath him but also too stupid to understand what a corneal abrasion was. I have never before been treated so badly by a medical "professional "in my life. If you want to be treated well and be listened to by an eye doctor you would be better off going to any Wal-Mart eye care center. Or even a blind drunk homeless person on the street.

Very disappointed with my last "set" of visits. Found the south Tamaqua office disorganized, initial portion of exams done in a room that is the area the staff goes in and out of front office, and holds conversations while people are being seen. (Breaching HIPPA) in process because a listing of patient names are also there. Incorrect prescription, causing a return check with a Dr. Whos language is horrible. Had more issues than I have room for. Attempted to talk to office manager, failed, staff refused to provide email, also once I was able to get transferred to her voicemail, it was never returned
