Wichryk Eye Associates

Dr. Wichryk is a 1997 honors graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh, receiving his bachelors of science in microbiology in 1993. In 2013, Dr. Wichryk became one of the first board certified optometrists in Pennsylvania, and has since gone on to gain certifications in areas such as scleral lens fitting and corneal reshaping (orthokeratology).

While clear vision is important, a comprehensive eye exam can do more than just give you a prescription for glasses. The eyes are truly a window into other parts of your overall health. Our doctors take the time to evaluate our patient's concerns, medical history, and lifestyle to find the best possible treatments for our patient's specific needs.

Some patients require a more specific exam to discuss and treat medical vision issues with our doctors. Most of these exams are billed to medical insurance. Other issues such as viral/bacterial infections, allergies, abrasions, stys, and foreign body removal. We are almost always able to work-in a patient for a medical emergency or care for sudden onset of symptoms.

Made of a flexible plastic polymer, daily-wear lenses are put in each morning and taken out each night. Daily-wear contacts come in many colors and are designed to be worn for one day, eliminating the need to purchase cleaning solutions.
