Paul graduated from McAllister of Mortuary Science in 1988 before he opened his Paul T. Mazzoni Funeral Home in Eynon, PA. Paul has been a resident of Brevard County since 1997 where he worked for several of the Dignity locations. In 2011, Paul decided to go back on his own and open Island Cremations Funeral Home.
Most of us are not prepared to plan and carry out a funeral ceremony for someone we love. So much of the information available on this critically important subject fails to focus on what is most important: having a personalized, meaningful funeral that helps families and friends begin the healing process of mourning after the death of someone we love.

What type of material would you like the niche to be constructed from? Granite or bronze are choices for outdoor niches and marble or glass are choices for indoor niches. What type of memorial do you prefer (a marker set flush with the ground or an upright memorial)?. What type of presentation would you prefer for the burial service, e.g. a tent canopy, chairs, mats leading to the grave, etc.?.

10/2020, their services were used for my Mother's passing. Basic cremation, because she wanted nothing fancy. Dylan informed me she could be placed at the National Cemetary in my Fathers already reserved spot with him still living. Perfect. 10/2021, my Father missed his bride of 64 years, and left to join her. We told Paul what his wishes were, and he advised us on things we weren't sure of, and was on top of every detail from church to cemetary. 20 years ago, we cremated my nephew using a Dignity facility and the cost was $1,200.+ more than my Fathers. SIMPLY THE BEST!! As an out-of-towner coming to Merritt Island after my father's passing, I had no clue where to begin, or how to navigate my way around the myriad of funeral homes in the area.Then I received a recommendation for Island. Upon meeting Dillon, I felt like I was in the right place! Mike and Dawn are beyond helpful- informing and guiding me along the way. Dillon even assisted me in arranging for a Veteran memorial service, making the initial contact, and helping me through the process.

Now that yesterday is behind us… Let me tell you about our journey! Mamalene passed away Saturday evening. Sunday, we had to process everything. Monday it was time to go into business mode and do what needs to be done. We dreaded it. But… We had the most amazing experience with An absolutely wonderful family. Paul T Mazzoni, his son Dillon and their entire staff were incredible. They made us feel so comfortable, everything was and done with so much care and love. We don’t want to think about death and how to try to put together a funeral but The experience at Island Cremation was 100%

Dillon and his staff could not have been more helpful to our family, answering every question and meeting every request. Their courtesy and care eased a difficult time. The graveside service they helped us arrange was just what the family wanted. Beyond that, we were grateful for the reasonable cost for their handling of the transfer from out-of-state (less half the cost of another local funeral home). We recommend Island Cremations without reservation.

My dad passed away last week, my sister and I came down from North Carolina not knowing where to even begin. My dad had some amazing friends that recommended Island Cremations and we couldn’t have been happier with that decision. Paul, Michael, and his whole team were phenomenal. There were some complications with my dad being an organ donor but they really stepped up and got everything completed quickly which was a huge help as my sister and I were needing to get back to North Carolina. My mom fell ill suddenly around Memorial Day 2020. She began a slow and consistent decline till she passed on Independence Day. Neither my mom nor my dad had made any final plans. With a very unexpected passing of my mother, island Cremations made the process very easy and transparent. I live out of town and have never handled anything like this ever before and they have a very professional well organized organization and there was never a missed communication on any detail, phone calls were very regular I never had to call them and always has a solution for any issue that could arise. Facility is very well put together and clean! But my biggest complement is the amount of empathy they had for my family's tough situation.

Thoughtful, courteous, prompt, and respectful. The process, already difficult, was made a bit less stressful because this piece went very smoothly. The memorial area was a little date me but not in a bad way. The nature of their business is such that maybe they don't get reviews because it can be hard for families to share their experience. They helped with arrangements, transport, state certificates, memorial, and coordination with clergy.

The staff was great to work with, they were kind and very responsive. They were a great help in dealing with the VA to schedule the internment in the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery. Island Cremations and Funeral Home came highly recommended and for good reason. While my grandmother was in Hospice of St. Francis, I was dealing with a local funeral home in Titusville. The unnamed funeral home quoted me one price but then when I went to sign paperwork it was completely different by almost $5,000 more than what was discussed. That funeral home wasted precious time I could have been spending with my loved one. My husband and I were referred to this Funeral Home by the ICU Nurses at the hospital who had recently used them. They took my FIL and treated him with the utmost respect and reverence from beginning to end. They kept in touch and made sure we were updated every step of the process without being overburdened. They were HIGHLY respectable for his VETERAN Status and the fact that we were both veterans, and they wanted everything to be perfect. Words can't express how much I appreciate Paul and Dillon Mazonni and the help they provided when I lost a dear friend. Their reputation is well-deserved. Loss of a family member or close friend is hard. Island Cremations made it so easy to handle the final arrangements, and I'll forever be grateful.
I don't know the circumstances of the one negative reviewer, but I had death certificates in my hand the day after my friend passed. I've dealt with a number of funeral directors over my many years, and I've found none finer.

With the passing of my Father I have to say that Paul was there for my family in our time of need. He was so helpful when we could not decide on some things and very accommodating when we did decide. This family owned business is so professional and courteous in the time when families truly need that.

Amazing family business serving at a painful time in any family's life.
