He's spent his formative years with Kru Mark Nardone and Kru Phil Nurse & Kru Mark Dellagrotti.
In more recent years he's traveled to both Louisville KY & Doublin, CA to seek coaching knowledge from Coach Eric Haycraft & Coach Kirian Fitzgibbons. I’ve been really enjoying NSMT after joining about a month ago, having had prior Muay Thai experience at other gyms. There is a great variety of class offerings and times in the evenings, the people are welcoming and respectful, and Marc (as noted in other reviews) brings a lot of experience and energy to his coaching. The classes are challenging in a good way, and I’ve seen personal progress in a short period of time. I’ve missed the sense of community a good martial arts gym brings, and happy to have it back with NSMT!

If you want to learn authentic Muay Thai and Dutch style kickboxing at any level. North Shore Muay Thai Academy Lynn is the place to be at. Marc is experienced at teaching beginners and training fighters from amateur to pro. I have been with Marc for more than 9 years since the TPS days and I would never be with any other gym. At NSMTA Lynn you will learn, get in shape and grow to be a better individual. The atmosphere is great and the facility is top notch. Marc is really good at his craft when it comes to Muay Thai, he’s trained amateur fighters to professionals with big names in New England like Pedro Gonzalez and Matt Doherty. If anybody is looking to get into shape and learn real traditional Muay Thai who’s on of the best in Nee England and especially in Lynn, definitely go see Marc Meltzer.

Training with Marc Meltzer is an absolute pleasure. Whatever your level (he took me from absolute novice, to someone who can throw a decent kick!) you'll learn a lot and be challenged. His attention to detail is rare (having been to quite a few fight gyms now) and it's clear his many years of experience has been channeled into the best Muay Thai teaching methods. Philosophies that will for sure be practised in Lynn!

North Shore Muay Thai Lynn is a great facility that combines Dutch Kickboxing and Muay Thai. I’ve known Marc for a long time and continue to train under him to develop my striking game. Marc’s detailed, oriented teaching style helps you grow as a martial artist in many ways. If you want to get in shape or compete, Marc’s passion and commitment is always present. I recommended North Shore MT to anyone interested in learning from a great coach!

I would highly recommend North Shore Muay Thai academy to anyone that is interested in kickboxing. Marc is an excellent coach and he has experience working with beginners and all the way up to the pros. He is really skilled and can work with you on any level. Unfortunately the commute is a little too far away for me to get to but if you are in the north shore area, I highly recommend you give him a try.

I have known Mark Meltzer since high school. I have trained with him at North Shore Muay Thai Academy in both group and private classes. Mark is a phenomenal coach and a stand up guy! Whether you are a beginner or a champion his attention to detail will make you better. His workouts are challenging with no nonsense and can be self paced based on a participants Individual fitness level. Kru Mark is a great instructor very knowledgeable in the sport of Muay Thai it's incredible that he is now working in Lynn for anybody who lives around that area it is a privilege and honor to be able to train with a instructor of his caliber. I highly recommend Northshore Muay Thai Academy. It's also a safe and friendly environment.
