David is a Licensed Acupuncturist (LAc) and holds a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine (MSOM). He is also a Doctor of Oriental Medicine (DOM) in the State of New Mexico. He has a full-time clinical practice, in which he integrates Japanese acupuncture of the Ki Shin Po tradition, Chinese acupuncture in the style of Dr. Richard Tan and Master Tung, Chinese herbal medicine and Visionary Craniosacral Work.

Acupuncture is the art of inserting fine needles into the body at specific points. Stimulating these points regulates the flow of Qi (energy) throughout distinct pathways in the body. Craniosacral therapy is derived from osteopathic medicine. Anatomically, craniosacral therapy focuses on all of the bones in the cranium, the jaw, teeth, vertebrae, sacrum, all structures in the brain and spinal chord, and even the cerebrospinal fluid.
David Kaminker, LAc, MSOM, has a fully stocked Chinese herbal dispensary, as well as select, high-quality Western herbal medicines and nutritional supplements. Herbal therapy is especially effective in conjunction with acupuncture treatments. David specializes in creating custom herbal formulas for each patient, based on their individual constitution and using the diagnostic principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

As an official mentor for the Milne Institute, David works one-on-one with students on the Milne Institute Certification Track. After reviewing a student's client records, he meets with each student in person, via Skype or phone, offering his detailed observations and insights about how to deepen their skills and effectiveness as a practitioner.
David Kaminker brings a presence to his work that is beyond any other acupuncture I have received. His approach is quite still and subtle. His technique is completely non-invasive, as where some acupuncturists like to stimulate and help get things flowing painfully, David's sense and keen awareness is present with every touch, which has deep profound results.

I worked with David weekly for months on end to help me with my chronic pain. When I started going to David I was depleted, felt broken and in high levels of pain.
