Order gathering is done by companies that advertise in the yellow pages of your local phone book under "Florist" or companies listed in the white pages under "Your Town Florist". These companies are almost never a local business. They take your order and wire it back to a local florist to fill. While there are some very reputable companies that provide this type of service, there are those that are not.
When requesting donations from Fleur De Lis for our product or for advertising you must first fill out a donation application and return it two weeks in advance. Donation requests must be made by organizations or members of organizations that are customers of Fleur De Lis.
The donation request must be for a charitable cause and we ask that only one donation application be filled out by your organization in a one year period so that we are able to distribute our donations equally throughout the year.

For fresh cut flowers either boxed or wrapped start with a clean vase and fill with lukewarm water. Use professional grade flower food and follow instructions on packet. Use a clean, sharp knife or pruners and cut at least an inch off stems or to desired length. Check by touching the foam with your finger, if the water level feels low then add more water.

My daughter just delivered a beautiful baby girl, and the woman I spoke to on the phone couldn't be more helpful, kind and friendly. In this day and age, feeling like you are a valued customer is such a wonderful thing. I had previously called another popular Portland florist and felt like I was intruding, so much so, I had to ask if I was talking directly to the store. Spend your money with someone who appreciates your business, and are not afraid to show it. I will never try to use any other florist in Portland again!

I had a destination wedding at Portland headlight in the beginning of September. I was at a loss looking for flowers - I know nothing about flowers, I didn't live locally, these would be the ONLY decorations at the ceremony, and I was looking to do something special without breaking the bank.
I actually called Whole Foods asking for recommendations of local florists and that's how I got in contact with Rachel from Fleur De Lis. She got back to my right away, the prices were totally reasonable, and I knew right away she was someone I could trust with my special day.

Fleur De Lis has been amazing at creating beautiful arrangements, with great care, creativity and quality. They have been a great community member too, volunteering time and effort with a show of kindness for the May Day baskets during the pandemic last year, as well as, the creation of an amazing floral heart made of roses as part of a nation wide memorial to those lost during the pandemic. Great people, great service & great product!

I called Fleur De Lis 1 day before my friend’s wedding in the middle of a pandemic...a pandemic! And they made it happen!
