After hours, if you have an emergency, Dr. Wirant or another area orthodontist can be paged directly. We are conveniently located close to Spring-Ford High School. Many older children walk over during or after school and then get picked up by their parents. This can save time for parents and children.
John M. Wirant, DMD graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a BS in Chemistry with a Bioscience Option. He subsequently earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 1996. Graduating with honors, he was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society, an organization that recognizes scholastic as well as clinical excellence.
We will provide you with a CD copy of your CBCT X-rays at your visit if time permits. With the newest and most advanced 3D imaging available, we can give you the shareware software and your digital scan allowing you to view your 3D image at home. The ICAT FLX is the top Cone Beam CT machine on the market (and it's made locally!).
Insurance coding can be tricky, so we will cheerfully file all insurance claims and follow-ups as a courtesy to our patients. Most insurance companies make an initial "down payment, " followed by either monthly or quarterly payments over the course of treatment. Claims are filed on or after the "start date."

As soon as you walk in to Dr. Wirant’s office you immediately know you made the right choice. They are so welcoming, professional and their results are amazing!
I had braces in my teens but my teeth shifted back after not wearing my retainers (for 20 years!). I started Invisalign back in January and and I am already thrilled with the results! I change my trays every two weeks and can’t believe that I am on the 20th tray in less than seven months. The crowding of my bottom teeth is just about fixed and they were even able to correct my overbite already.
Invisalign is also much less painful

I started Invisalign with Dr. Wirant about six months ago and I couldn't be happier with my results! My teeth were crooked and in cross bite and it is completely fixed. Both of my children are under Dr.Wirant's care as well and I've seen great things for the kids so far!
Dr. Wirant and his staff are friendly and welcoming. The facility is beautiful and clean. We've been so happy with our choice.
