I went in with my van while on my way home. It was difficult to drive it. Turned out the power steering pump went. They got the parts with a little bit of difficulty (not of their fault) and had my van running in 4 hours. They offered to bring me and my niece to a diner so we could get something to eat and they even gave us a piece of cake from their anniversary celebration. I listened to them dealing with several of their customers. They were friendly and courteous and it was apparent that they cared. Additionally, it was apparent that they were not taking advantage of their customers or overcharging

I recently asked Van Allen Atuomotive for an estimate to do cosmetic repairs on my 2012 Prius 4. The work included a ding on the right door, minor rear bumper damage typical of daily use and a damaged rocker molding.
After a careful analysis, the young man returned and handed me an estimate for $2139.90!
I took my car to Scott's Aluminum in Columbiaville (Route 9), NY, less than 10 miles from Van Allen and the gentlemen there did more work than was on the Van Allen estimate for $500.00! It looks gorgeous and was done with careful and correct professionalism.

I was driving from Albany to NYC when my battery light went on. I went down route 9H to find a station. I passed several and for some reason chose this one. They looked at my car immediately and said it was going to be $400. In order to get them to do the work immediately I had to tell them I was not from the area. They agreed to the work right away and I went to Dunkin Donuts. As a woman travelling alone you always feel like a strange car repair shop will take full advantage and seep every penny, but not here. They discovered it was a disconnected wire and saved me about $375. I drove
