This repair shop is owned and operated by Dan the Man. Dan is a fully licensed auto technician with AC and electrical certifications. He was born in Pughkeepsie but grew up in the Mohawk Valley. Then he ended up settling down in the Hudson City area of Columbia County, where he resides today. Dan's passion for automotive work began in school.
In 1997, Dan got his first job changing oil. In 2000, Dan worked for J & J Automotive in Rhinebeck, NY. Then in 2002, Dan got a job with Parkway Auto and for 12 years helped customers with their cars as well as customers at Hall Motors in Hudson, NY.

Take I-90 south east to the end of the free part at Exit 12 in Schodack, the US 9 Hudson Exit. Go south towards Valatie on US 9. When you get to the traffic circle, about five miles by Hannafords, get on NY 9H south at the circle. Head south on 9H for about 10 miles. We are on the left hand side of the road, behind 9H Auto, right past the Columbia County Airport and Kozels.

The timing belt is the most important belt on your engine. It is the belt that drives and synchronizes your engine's camshaft(s) with your engine's crankshaft, on an overhead cam, or OHC, motor. It replaces the earlier timing chains, which resembled a bicycle chain and sprocket set, that older OHC motors had, as well as even older motors that don't have overhead cam(s), like the old style V-8s with mere overhead valves.

Exterior Lights all working and bright 5. Your battery is strong and passes a load check 6. Car's charging, alternator, system works properly, and battery clamps are clean too 7. Replace your wipers with new winter ones.
