Sabor A Pasion Estate & Vineyard
Effortless Tuscan elegance blends with rugged Texas beauty at this B&B and vineyard, which is also home to the acclaimed Restaurant Aubergine. It's all about personalized service at Sabor a Pasion. Owner and chef Simon Webster arranges wine tastings, hog hunting trips, and family-style pizza dinners from the outdoor oven.

He even delivers desserts by plane. Although it's only five minutes from Palestine, the property affords a sense of seclusion and escape. The narrow, winding road that leads to the estate is lined with dogwoods and pine trees, and just about the time you think you might be lost, a "Sabor a Pasion" sign assures you that you're on the right track.
Services
Make reservations for Friday night pizza night. Every Friday Chef Simon fires up the pizza oven and the menu features Gourmet Salad, Handmade Pasta, Wood-Fired Pizza & New Zealand Pavlova. Served family style for you & your friends. Join Chefs Christine Gardner & Simon Webster for the gastronomical trip of a lifetime.
Sabor a Pasion provides catering for multiple organizations and private clubs in the East Texas area. But the personal service doesn't stop there. If you're having a dinner party, special event, luncheon or meeting -- here at Sabor a Pasion, in your home or at another venue -- Chef Webster will tailor the menu and style to your expectations.
Sabor a Pasion specializes in small boutique weddings that are customized to your style and preferences. Feel at home with your family and friends with packages that include accomodations, rehearsal dinner, reception dinner, gourmet breakfast, custom wedding cake & 2 night property rental. Sabor a Pasion has been an exclusive wedding venue since 2004.
Planted in 2011, the Sabor a Pasion Vineyard contains 740 vines made up of Blanc Du Bois and Lomanto. Blanc Du Bois is a dry white wine with citrus notes, predominantly grapefruit, and finishing with lemon & honey. Lomanto is a French-American hybrid grape that yields a dry full-bodied red wine that is deep purple and fruit forward carrying notes of juicy, ripe cherries and dark berries.
In a skillet over medium heat add a tablespoon of olive oil, the sliced red onion, sugar and a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Saut slowly until soft and caramelized, but not browned. Remove to a small bowl and allow to cool. Line a straight-sided quiche or tart pan with your chilled dough. Carefully press the dough into the pan.

Spent 3 nights here attending a wedding and staying an extra day for some R&R. For an easy weekend get away from Dallas, this just can’t be beat. The restaurant is exceptional and the lush grounds and quaint and comfortable cabins are perfect. Pay attention to the fact that it is a place to disconnect and relax - as in there is no cell service and no Internet. Your phone serves as a camera and nothing more so embrace it and relax!!!

The atmosphere is great! Chef Simon Webster was awesome. Prices are a bit high for an couple. But you have to pay for quality. Also if you are going to get an overall price for a group rating make sure you are paying for what you expect. I got caught and it cost me about $60 more than I was told.

Excellent restaurant and accommodations. Located on a 30 acres of farm land and vineyard the location is beautiful. Chef Simon Webster is a master in the kitchen producing superb meals.we spent a few days here and it was great. The rooms are well appointed and just the place to wind down. There is no internet or TV so you can disconnect from your devices. Will go back.

Wonderful surprise in a scenic part of East Texas (yes, there are such locations!) Awesome location from the Texas State Railroad. Cabins are very comfortable, private; watched a wild turkey cross the lawn while in a rocking chair on the front porch, and there's even a group venue for weddings or family events. Also a fantastic menu for dinner featuring seasonal items with Simon's secret ingredients and of course "the breakfast" - amazing! Simon's hospitality included preparing a special birthday treat on request with VERY short notice - very much appreciated.
