My family and I tried this restaurant as we were driving through Palestine. The restaurant was cute and clean. The food was decent. It was a little overpriced for the quality, but nothing terrible. However, the waitress was rude and far less than attentive. I would have given a 4, if we would have had a different waitress.

I grew up in Palestine and remember when Little Mexico opened in the 60s. I've now lived in Houston area for over 30 years and we have Mexican restaurants on every corner, yet none can compare to my hometown's Tex Mex legend. My many kids all recognize this rare jewel of authentic Mexican cuisine and can't wait to return everytime we come back to visit our family. Palestine--you don't know how good you have it!!

I have eaten there since childhood. We love the chips and salsa (brought a pint home)! This is the best place for cheese enchiladas. But my other favorite is the special nachos with meat and jalapeños. A dab of sour cream and guacamole make them perfect. I can also recommend the beef tacos. Service is always kind and attentive.

Overall the dinner was pretty good. Chips and queso were very good and the salsa was ok. Salsa could improve a bit but not bad.
The interior was very nice and you can tell that this place does a great business.it was not busy while we were there but there is a lot of seating.
The service was great and we. Ever had to wait for chips or drink refills or our check.
The only negative was that some of the food was very greasy. It was plentiful, large portions, but I couldn't finish my burrito because it was too greasy. Maybe the cheese mix is off?
I'd go back if I was lose by but wouldn't go out

Great place. Nice inside, Great Tex-Mex, nice presentation on food, clean bathrooms, spacious, good staff, fair prices, well organized. The place has been there for years yet it has no visible cobwebs, no crayon on the walls, no sticky floors, no bent silverware. Managment must be doing something right. We enjoyed it and will be back...

Overall my experience at Little Mexico was very good. The food was better than most of the other Mexican restaurants that I have visited. The tortilla soup was delicious! We received great service and, from what we saw, the place was clean. The restaurant could use more comfortable seating and better lighting. I don't believe the dimness was to create a sense of mood. Our meals were well worth their reasonable prices.
