Quite a few people have come to me after they've talked to a loan specialist at the bank where they keep their checking or savings. They think because they are a customer of the bank they will get a better deal. I've rarely had a client for whom that is true. They get the same deal that a non-customer does.

With the current economic situation, many people with reduced incomes can't afford their homes and are becoming renters. Others, with reduced incomes can't afford to buy their own homes and continue to rent.
For a first-time buyer, the purchase of a home doesn't have to be an overwhelming experience. While there is a lot to do, one of your very first steps should be to get qualified for a loan. This will save you time and put you in a better negotiating position. Until you get qualified, you really don't know how much of a house you can afford.
If you are a home owner who wants to lower your rate or perhaps take some cash out of your home, I'll help you structure your new loan and get you a great rate, too. Now, as much as I like doing loans for folks, I will not do a refinance loan that doesn't give you some benefit. If it doesn't make sense to do the loan, then I'll tell you, honestly.

We worked with David to get our first mortgage, getting pre-approval in September and closing in November of this year. We were connected with him by a coworker of mine, and from the first call, we were really appreciative of his candor. He answered so many of our questions, and went way beyond the call of duty, even when we were not even clients of his yet.
We did look into other options initially, but it became clear that David was going to be our best option. He has a good eye for the market, he works fast, and he is almost always available.

The name is no lie -- David really is friendly. But he's more than that; he's thorough and thoughtful too. He knows his stuff. He handled a refi on our home in Burbank late this year and guided us through every step of the process, from appraisal to final paperwork. He made it as pain-free as possible.
