Services
All Head Start classrooms are staffed with qualified teachers with degrees and/or certification in the field of early childhood education. At least two adults ensure the safety of the children at all times. Head Start provides classroom activities geared toward each child's level of development and allows parents to help plan child-centered lessons.
If you are interested in Volunteering, please fill out both and return to our Kalispell Center. Northwest Montana Head Start is a non-profit organization that depends on donations and grants to fund its programs. Head Start is required to raise a certain amount of donations in-kind each year to maintain funding.
Thank you for considering enrolling your child (or children) into the Northwest Montana Head Start program. We look forward to working with your child and your family! Income Verification-For each adult in the household that has a legal relationship to the child or to the child's primary caregiver.

We welcome children of all abilities and collaborate with local school districts to implement plans for each child's specific needs. Yes, you should still apply! For a low income school they have been great to us. Love the teachers and the program. We will be in this program for awhile to come as we have one going in next year and after he finishes another will be old enough. Also they have good programs and the kids have a blast at the events. Keep up the good work!!!
