When Eva Franco emigrated to the United States as a young girl, fashion quickly became her entre into new surroundings. Born and raised in Transylvania, Romania, but of Hungarian heritage, she discovered that her passion for designing clothing helped her express herself as she communicated with her American peers.
After graduating from New York's Fashion Institute of Technology, Franco went to Paris, where she continued her education as a design assistant for Etienne Brunel. But it was when she moved to Los Angeles that she began crafting clothes for herself. Fueled by positive remarks from passersby, she set up shop at a local flea market, where she was able to learn directly from customers about creating pieces that celebrate the female form.

Love, love, love these dresses and the sample sales are amazing!! Probably not the best time to wear your most, errrrr, revealing underwear since the dressing room is just one smallish, open room. Idk what the other reviewer is talking about re: rude staff....I've been to 3 or 4 of Eva Franco's sales and they've always been just great to me. Especially Sara, whom I adore and always look forward to seeing. If I could give this label million stars, I would!!!

Great dresses at their sample sale but rude customer service. I was ok with the staff helping the same customers as I could still over hear the info they gave but was annoyed by their overall service when they seemed annoyed I asked for another size and color. Know it's a sample sale but they don't needed to be snooty rude. Disappointing. Still love the clothes though.

Attended a sample sale held in the room next to where all the Eva Franco designs are proudly made in the heart of Downtown LA. While the changing room was first-come-first-served and effectively communal, the clientele Eva Franco attracts are lovely people with an eye for quality clothing, so it felt like I was shopping with friends.
None of the sales people were even the least bit pushy, but they were highly knowledgeable about the products and were a great help when I needed them. The three dresses I bought look very flattering and feel comfortable - one of them even has pockets, which is always

Now this woman can make a dress! I recommend that you put one of Eva Franco's designs on your body as soon as possible.
I haven't worn clothes this well made since I used to model -- but I was paid to wear them and generally wouldn't have selected them to own. Walking into Eva's Spring Street loft was an experience that took me to the Paris of my youth.
I walked into her LA space on the hunt for a holiday dress, and found myself in the middle of racks full of expertly designed and tailored clothing that I loved. Unlike so many clothing manufacturers who churn out clothes
