For the price we paid which I believe, so far, is $58 with parking ( $10) it did the job. They do put a $100 hold when u get there. I have read reviews where they won't give it back, so we will see. There was a stain on the comforter(that my husband didn't see THANK GOD) and sticky stuff on the night stand but I mean for 1 night it was fine.

I rarely give low reviews. However my stay at this hotel was disturbing. I woke up with several bug bites and patiently waited for the desk person to be free and not helping other customers so I could explain to him without creating a mess.
I showed him the bug bites on my legs and wrists. I was in a hurry so had to leave without the bill, he said he would have the manager call.
Fast forward, no calls, no emails, not even my receipt, but charged full price. If they choose to do this then one can accept that, but no communication and not even emailing a receipt but charging full boat. Shameful

For the price this hotel is probably one of the best in town. It looks a little dated but makes up for it in being clean and having really comfortable beds. Staff was very helpful. Parking is 10$ per night so keep that in mind when booking
The indoor pool is a really nice touch and they are flexible with having guests use the pool
Overall this is always our go to hotel when we visit family!

I understand that you get what you pay for but I don't remember paying for someone else's comb in the shower and lipstick on the washcloth. Check in was easy. Room service was tasty and the lady who delivered it was very nice. Oh! Did I mention being able to hear the guest above me peeing? (he/she should get checked out by a doctor!) The bed was clean and comfy but the pillows look like they belong to hobbits. These same hobbits seem to have designed the room as everything was wee: low shower head, low office chair, tiny fridge and microwave. Even fingerprints on the full length mirror

Very nice. Felt right at home. Comfortable beds and furniture. Great bathrooms. Quiet rooms. I slept so soundly I could've slept for days. Nobody in our group wanted to leave! The staff was friendly and relaxed. It eat any other motel we stayed at the whole trip I definitely recommend the grand Vista hotel to everyone!

I mean the hotel itself was nice and the bed was comfortable. It was clean and a great place to stay for just a night's sleep. The check in process was rough and took about 20 minutes with a line of people out the door waiting. The breakfast situation was bad! They wanted $12.95 for scrambled eggs and toast. The buffet leaves a LOT to be desired. Next time I'd probably just stay somewhere with a continental breakfast.

Borderline scary. There was urine on the side of our toilet. The doors don't fit right. There was a large gap at the top of the door. The connection door to the next room over had holes in it, like someone took a hammer to it or tried to pry it open. The stairwell is filthy. The showerhead is at maybe 5 ft. Hubby is 6'3". Not sure how this place passes any kind of inspection.

Stay started with Tim at the front desk being incredibly friendly and accommodating. I was upgraded to a suite and he made sure that my friend that I was traveling with was able to have the adjoining room. The rooms were extremely affordable, quiet, and clean. The house keeping staff was very friendly. I have stayed at this hotel at least 20 times and always have a positive experience.

Graaaaand Junction. I just can't keep away! (Until now)
My business partner and I booked through Expedia, Highly recommend for those HOT HOT deals.
As my partner (business) and I waddled up to the front door with all our luggage, we were greeted by the smooth tunes of Gary (pictured). A surprise performance with attendance apparently being........ mask optional.
After 2 minutes of toe tapping and ear shakin, Gary was old news. It was time to get up to our room.
The elevators had all 4 walls mirrored, potentially to seem bigger. This illusion didn't work on me nor my partner of business

This was my worst hotel experience EVER. Despite the fact that the carpets probably haven't been replaced in 20 years, and me, a 5'2" lady finds the shower to be too small. The indoor pool and hot tub were ice cold, the fitness center is basically an 8× 8 closet with 3 pieces of equipment. There seemed to be a congregation of homeless people who like to spend their time in the parking lot. And then, the icing on the cake, our fire alarm goes off at 11pm. We have 2 little kids sleeping and a 6am flight. What does the manager Denise do? Nothing, she states that sometimes happens

Your get what you pay for. It's a cheap room.
Not bad but no better then a motel 6
Except no plugs next to bed for phone or computer. Not that you can use either cause the internet is so bad dont even think about streaming. Shower head is 5 feet from the ground so unless your a small child prepare to crouch. AC unit is so out dated but it works

You need a mask to check in but not in public spaces, hallways, elevators or to walk out. Good shower. If you're looking for a place to pick up Covid try 'Bailey's' the lounge bar. It was full with no masks and the only bartender, waitress/ server didn't even pretend to wear a mask. Tried to pick up some food to take back to the room and after 40 minutes (waiting in my room for 20 and the lobby for 20) couldn't imagine what was going on behind the scenes. Cancelled my order. Nightmare.

Did not have a good experience. Showed up before checking to a full hotel without enough parking. Was given a room that made me feel second class. First floor didn't have a ramp so Hellman's carts were not possible.
Guests are not wearing masks and there is no attempt to even suggest it. Room was not totally clean upon arrival. Furniture was beat up. Bedding was ok. AC was probably from the eighties and made a horrendous noise all night long.
This was not worth the $100 we paid in any way. I would have had better luck at Motel 6 or Super 8 frankly. Was considering a call to my cc to

You get what you pay for here. Room is decent size, bed is comfy. Place was clean. Hair dryer in bathroom. Tv was on the smaller side and in a hutch so base projected back and caused an echo when watching. Since we were here for two days during the virus we didn't venture out. Not very many TV stations and no Netflix or way to mirror from your phone. Used internet but was slow. Watched a lot of Swamp People. Staff was friendly and checking in was easy. Pool was closed. They are doing upgrades, but we did not get the luxury of any of them. Paid $43 a night so I am not really complaining. Would

What an unexpectedly charming find! The rooms were comfortable and clean but the real gem was the breakfast room/restaurant. Locals and visitors can enjoy the well priced breakfast buffet or à la carte items with lovely western farmhouse decor. Service was friendly and efficient.
Dirt parking lot across the street provides amble parking for trucks and vehicles towing trailers.

Absolutely love this hotel! Staff are so friendly, and out going. The resteraunt located in the hotel is just as good with lovely wait staff, the theme of this hotel is just a cherry on top and is with-in walking distant to resteraunt or activities. I was sad the pool and hot tub were down during our stay they did not advertise that... but other then tHat no complaints:).

Decent hotel located close to the airport and a less than 15 minute drive to downtown Grand Junction.
I booked via hotels.com. The price was very reasonable at $44/night. I got a king room, which was very spacious. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. The front desk service was friendly.
My only issue during my stay was the internet. It was extremely slow. Like dial up would have been an improvement. It's no fun when a decently nice hotel doesn't have comparable internet.

The lobby was beautiful but that's about it. The rooms werent bad. Few problems we had of which is why we wont return.
Reservation staff was horrible and rude. Not personable at all. Every hotel I have ever stayed at has always had soap, shampoo or conditioner. This one had nothing at all. For the price you think they could splurge on atleast soap.
We paid for the breakfast but wasnt worth it.
I do have to say we went to the bar at hotel and staff was great and attentive. Wish all staff would have been this nice.

It's almost as if you walked into Wild West with features that most modern hotels don't have anymore. There is a bar in the lobby where there is live music most nights. Restaurant is another interesting part with good old design. Food is just OK!
Rooms are clean, but since the hotel is old, lots of noise from Bathroom and AC unit.
Great place to stay for a night or two if you're in town.

Booked this hotel through Hotel dot COM and it had 4.5 star rating. I should have looked at Yelp rating also because, I will definitely not be giving out anything higher than 3 stars.
general appearance: 1st of all, its aging very quickly. the room cards were recycled so many times that its pretty scratched up. for our room, the room key reader is damaged. once you enter, it smells musty and old. however, it was clean, nothing stained or torn or broken. bathroom sink pop up was not hooked up so you had to manually bend down to lift it up for water to go down. I did see new roll of carpet

Excellent Hotel at an Excellent Price. It's a bit on the older side but very clean and well maintained.
The staff is very friendly and eager to assure your comfort.
Nice pool, but spa controls have been covered over, so it's nothing more that a small hot water tub (kind of disappointing when you are mind set on a relaxing jet massaging your back). Fitness center also well equipped, clean and maintained.
Rooms are large and very clean updated. Plugs for your electronics, fridge and microwave.
Recommend for a pleasant night's sleep.
