This is far and away the best vet that I’ve been to in my three years living in South Carolina and there have been a few. The office is clean and beautifully decorated, the staff is wonderful and kind, and the Doctor was above and beyond. My dog Kimber gets very anxious about his vet visits, and is looking for the door as soon as he realizes, by the smell, where he is. I’m not saying veterinarians smell, lol, but dogs just know. My other shih tzu actually enjoys going to the vet because the more people she see the better.

The staff here is so amazing! There was a little bit of a wait, but they were so sweet and it was easy to understand what they were talking about! It was also great that they let you know what procedures they are doing and talk about the prices before they go ahead and do anything! Great communication and great relationship building!!! Thank you so much for a great experience!

Our new kitten suffered a broken right front leg, around 10:30 at night. The next morning I called at 7:30, and the staff and Dr. Randy, (who I have no doubt are busy) were able to to see us immediately. They got his leg splinted and sent us up with a referral for surgery. Thankfully, the referral Dr. said it would heal just fine, from looking at his X-rays, that Waccamaw Regional supplied.
From the compassionate staff, to the knowledgeable, friendly, and professional Dr. Randy, this will always be our family’s vet.

They exceeded my expectations. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. They treated my dog as if he was one of there own. The vet was very knowledgeable and caring he gave me tips and tricks to keep my pup healthy for a long time to come. I will always use waccamaw as my vet because they make you feel like family. Wonderful Vet & Staff! My little Chihuahua was in terrible pain and even though she’s not a patient there, they saw her immediately. I was overwhelmed by the compassion. The facility is immaculately clean and well equipped. The staff is professional and very knowledgeable. Dr. Randy takes his time to explain EVERYTHING. I left knowing my tiny companion had the best care possible. I would drive hundreds of miles to bring her back to this veterinary hospital!

Best vet around. Very reasonable prices and every time we’ve called and needed an immediate appointment, they have been able to offer us one. The vet himself, the best one. We brought a kitten in that we found in a sewer drain, covered in fleas, peed herself in the cat carrier, and overall just smelt bad, he picked her up sat her on his chest and played with her. It was the sweetest thing. He went above and beyond our expectations and created a treatment plan for our new kitten. I would recommend them over anyone. Kimberly was an AMAZING nurse. She did SO well with Fatty (my kitty), I could tell he trusted her, which is difficult for him. She answered all of my calls and questions with kindness and patience. But most importantly I really felt like she cared and had our best interests at heart. I will definitely always use this clinic.
