In 1930, Joseph and Mamie Kotowsky established a General Hardware store selling hay, grain feed, hardware and electrical supplies. Their philosophy in business was simple- take care of every single customer like family, go out of your way to get them whatever they need and you will have a customer for life.
By 1945, with their three sons Mandel, Leonard and Irving, they began evolving their business into a plumbing and heating supply company. They ran their business successfully for many decades and eventually sold it in 1982. It remains a successful Chicago business still today. In 1992, following in his parents' footsteps, Irving, with his two sons Michael and David, founded Advantage Plumbing and Heating Supply Company.

We have been dealing with these guys for almost a year. We got our bathroom vanities from this place and we are very, VERY happy. They are beautiful and were very reasonably priced. Ordering, purchasing and delivery: no BS, no drama. The vanities came in perfect shape---came on time, nothing had to be returned or replaced. We also purchased bathroom lighting fixtures and faucets. We completely regret not getting our kitchen cabinets from this place earlier on. Our sales rep was Carol and she was superb! Not satisfied with there return policy. Don' t except return parts so how can I know what is the problem? What is wrong if they take parts? How can other store take returns they don't? Plus they are quite over price! Take same parts on ZORO web side 30% cheaper. Not happy with them policy! I'm honest with them they abuse there customer! Thank you for you service....

Terrible customer service. The sales team is rude. I came in to pick up a shower head with my well behaved 5 year old. He sat on the couch and watched the TV quietly. Didn't do anything wrong. I was ignored and passed from sales person to sales person. Then a sales person told me he wouldn't show me a shower head because 'it was out of my budget' I didn't give him my budget. Never will I use them again.

About 12 years ago we were fixing up our kitchen and bought a KWC faucet from Advantage Gallery. Since then we have gone back to Advantage for help getting replacement parts for the faucet. They are all so helpful and friendly. Their customer service department is great. I would highly recommend Advantage Gallery.

I've been going to Advantage for over fifteen years. We remodeled two bathrooms, I exclusively used Advantage. Over the years, I have gone back for parts for my Toto toilets, and recently for my bathtub. Their customer service knocks it out of the park. They carry fantastic merchandise, and stand behind the manufacturer warrantees, and beyond, Extremely helpful, and always pleasant and knowledgeable. Forget the big box places, go to Advantage.

Horrible experience with the owner or manager today. I purchased an item I thought had all the necessary parts but when my plumber installed the item a key piece was missing. I went to the store and the owner offered to sell me a soap dispenser for $50. When I protested he suggested I got to Ace to purchase the missing item. I left upset and without an apology from the owner.

My wife and I stopped here after receiving no assistance at Studio 41 for a bathroom remodel we are starting. From the moment we stepped into the showroom, we were greeted and received excellent assistance and advice from Jake. He listened carefully to what we want to do and showed us several options while taking the time to explain the difference in each. No matter what you are looking for, kitchen or bath, Advantage has it all! If you are considering a remodel or upgrade, do yourself a favor and visit this place before you make your purchase! Can't beat their warranty either.

Ask for "GEORGE" you will not be disappointed. He is always in demand and you may have to wait a little bit but it is well worth it. My family and I have worked with him several times now over several years on both large and small projects and have never been disappointing. He is extremely knowledgeable, cost/quality savvy and will steer you in the best direction possible without being pushy. I equate it to going to your family member and ask them their opinion. He treats you and gives you advice as if you were one

These guys have treated me well every time I've gone in. They know their products inside and out. The last time I went I was ready to buy a new kitchen faucet, but instead, the sales guy realized a place in Chicago might have the part I needed to repair the current one. Yea, it can be chaotic out there, but it is well worth the wait and their advice is worth the time and any savings you might get online (but I don't think it is much).
