Over the last two years, Chi Renovation has helped us transform our home. We have had two large projects managed and delivered by Chi. We gutted three bathrooms (primary, on suite, guest), refinished our kitchen cabinets, changed all the kitchen stone work, added a second island, removed a wall and re-tiled our front porch. Tom Tishby who was the Project Manager and led the crew of the Chi Renovation and Design on our project involving complete remodel of our kitchen and the powder room have done an outstanding job. Our kitchen remodel project involved removal of the wall to open up the galley kitchen, this required rerouting of the water pipes and installing new plumbing and wiring system. Just completed a kitchen remodel with Chi Renovation and am very pleased with the results. The team was friendly, professional and worked hard to keep communication and schedules flowing throughout the pandemic. Tom Tishbey was my PM and he went above and beyond for me helping me navigate through my insurance claim. I was out of town and he helped me by sending pictures and videos. His perspective and ideas were always accurate. He personally oversees your project and quickly fixes things and has solutions. He takes great pride in his work and it shows! My only hope is that CHI will one day have itemized bills that make it easier for consumers to see what they are paying for. I would use Tom again and again!

I wanted to share my experience working with Chi Renovations. The process was extremely easy and I am completely thrilled with the final product! I worked with Tania to design a fireplace that would fit a tight space. We have a hidden door closet we needed to be mindful of, so she shared a few general designs with me. She then created a custom fireplace surround to fit the space and my design ideas perfectly. I rated Chi Renovation 5 stars because of their quality services, especially for their project Manager Eric. Our project include redo bathroom, kitchen, floors, ceilings and painting. Eric is on top of things and he is very professional and responsible. Even three months after completion of our project, we had some issues for a light bulb and bathroom drain cover due to the quality of the product. Eric and his team showed up and resolve everything. This team is the one you can trust and depend on.

We worked with CHI Renovations on a gut kitchen remodel that was really complicated, to say the least. We relocated the HVAC system, did extensive electrical work, reconfigured the space completely, and much more. We had many challenges with our project, from an old house, to a hard deadline with a new baby arriving, and doing some of the design remotely - because of this, we are SO glad we went with CHI Renovations. I left a voicemail in the morning and got a call back before it struck noon. I spoke with Dorian who was very helpful, nice, conversational and knew his stuff. They do more full renovations while I just need some tile laid, but he gave me a ball park number and still offered to come out and look at it. Highly recommend starting your search with Chi Renovation & Design.

This is egregious behaviour from Lior Ben Zur and Chi Renovation. They had their lawyer contact us to request to talk to an attorney representing us. We had a lawyer contact them to see why they were so in need to 'VERBALLY TALK TO US' and not respond to the better business bureau, the illinois att general , the FTC, etc. Here is the response sent attached in images.
They did not sign it, which makes me suspicious of who these people are and are they legal citizens or is their a warrant out for them. They did not put this on Chi Renovation letterhead. Why would a business be so squirrely

Most expensive mistake and worst home repair work I have ever had to the tune of $240,000. The project is still unfinished after a year and the project coordinator , Ron Lifshitz ( I spose this is his title) just quit. He was essentially worthless , but somewhat better than the prior coordinator , Tom Tishby. Both kept just pushing me to start the next project so that they can collect money. They had no desire to finish any project or make sure the project was done to your specifications. It was so insulting. Every time you complained, they would claim it was your fault that your items were stolen

I want to preface this by saying I did not use them for my kitchen remodel, but only because their specialty is gut rehabs and I'm just looking for a minor facelift. But their level of professionalism and service makes me wish I was doing more! Dorian responded to my inquiry almost immediately and when he realized that they weren't the best fit for me he went out of his way to email me names of other companies who would be better suited to my needs. I can only imagine the kind of service they give to their clients. Thanks, Dorian!
