I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over ten years of experience working with adolescents, college students, and adults. I earned my Bachelors of Arts degree from Tufts University where I majored in child development. After earning my Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling at Yeshiva University in New York, I decided to pursue a doctorate in Clinical Psychology.
I realize no two people are the same and as such tailor my approach to meet your specific needs. As a psychologist in the Miami Beach area, I see myself as part of the local mental health community. In addition to providing therapy, I work with schools to conduct psycho-educational evaluations and assessments to children, adolescents and young adults.
Both public and private schools have advanced classes for students who excel academically. In order to place children in 'gifted' classrooms, they must be evaluated by a licensed psychologist. Through an IQ test, the school is provided with the necessary information for advanced placement.

My education focused on child development which gave me the basis to work with this population. Adolescence is a tough stage of life by nature as there are so many demands placed on a teenager.
