Great customer service and took the time to explain in details how to use and consume the herbal medicine. They observed sanitary ways to handle the herbs. The lady at the front made sure she wore gloves and even washed her hands after taking of her gloves before touching other bags of herbs. Very knowledgeable and reasonable pricing on herbs. Ever since 20 years ago that I got flu during pregnancy and needed help till now my daughter is already in college, I have been a loyal customer! Doctor Zhu and Vivian are always helpful and reliable for any occasion. Absolutely the best Chinese herb doctor and shop that I can find in Orange County.
Vivian is always available via phone or in person, they are always willing to offer a hand. There were times that my daughter was taking antibiotics for two weeks but still coughing, doctor Zhu's herb medicine worked each time and never failed. I would highly recommend this place foe anyone.

Let me start by saying the past 5 months or so I've been having really bad cramps for the first 2 days of my time of the month . My friend told me about this place how great it was for her to try it out . So I went and did 1/2 hour acupuncture and he sold me some herbs . Today is my first day of my period and I played tennis and did errands today like nothing ! I am a believer ! First time doing acupuncture and I'm amazed at the results !!

I've gone to Dr. Zhu for many years, and he has helped me tremendously multiple times. He is very knowledgeable and I highly recommend him.
For the first instance, I had an incurable runny nose. I was barely able to sleep for months, and had to carry around tissues constantly for the whole time. I went to many doctors and practitioners, with no result. Once I went to Dr. Zhu and described my symptoms, he gave me medicine and my symptoms were gone in 3 days - it was amazing.

I had an ECU (extensor carpi ulnaris) tendonitis wrist injury for 9 months before, I first went to see Dr. Gary Zhu for my first appointment. He saved me from having to go on disability during the healing process and enabled me to continue working. I had had the most excruciating sciatica issues for 9 months, to the point where I was constantly limping and could not even stand upright. At 33 years old I knew this was not normal. I've been seeing Dr. Gary Zhu since 2001 I believe. It's been a long time, and I've seen him off and on for various ailments. This last time I went in, I let Dr. Zhu know that I have sulfite allergies -- and he's aware that many Chinese herbs have sulfur dioxide. So he recommended a semen cassia tora and sulfite free chrysanthemum drink I can make to help with eye strain. My eye strain has definitely improved. He always tells me honestly which herbs are ok for me, and which herbs have allergy components. He's definitely worth visiting and see for a 2nd or 1st opinion

Dr Zhu is amazing!
I had been experiencing menopause issues for years (very heavy periods, 30 lb weight gain, extreme mood swings). Traditional western medicine (birth control pills, depression/anxiety meds) only made my issues worse or did nothing all.
After seeing Dr Zhu, my extremely heavy periods ( I couldn't leave the house - that's how bad it was) were lessened within days and gone completely within 2 weeks. I've lost 35 pounds and couldn't be happier. Thank you Dr Zhu for giving me my life back!

Update: I don't need transplant for at least another 15 years! My GFR has been stabilized between 23-24 ( my Nephrologist -Dr. Ross at Kaiser is a good doctor too and he is very pleased). Too bad that I have moved to San Diego, and continue my acupuncture treatment with another doctor in SD. I wish I could have longer treatment with Dr. Gary.
