Wow! Probably the worst customer service I've ever come across. I texted the number I found online to get more information on using them for a birthday party and the conversation that followed was completely unexpected. The person answering proceeded to go on a rant about how corrupt my city is and how people from my area can't afford his service. I was legitimately interested but guess I'll be looking elsewhere now.

Captain Jack Grayson was incredible-On time, in character the entire time, extremely funny, very entertaining, caring and unforgettable. I booked with the owner of the company and he was very honest, organized, easy to deal with, easy to book and friendly. His prices are very reasonable and the experience was A+. Haven't even booked this company and I won't -- I've been trying to finalize plans for my daughters birthday for 2 months -- started early because we wanted exotic animals which are not cheap and require permits -- Jack is egotistic and way too busy to call anyone, he wants you to contact him, but only during business hours on weekdays because he's too busy with productions on weekends and can't worry about sales calls. I get that weekend are busy for you but I'm also a potential customer and you are rude and too arrogant to deal with -- typical Hollywood type. Avoid

I can't believe I have to give this crap even 1 Star!!!! First of all about 2 months ago maybe I called for some information find out what exactly they do and see if this is something my son would enjoy at his party. Well Jack is who I spoke to and let me tell you this man is the rudest person I have ever spoken too!!!! He didn't want or answer any of my questions and made me feel like every question I asked was stupid ! I hired Pirates for Parties for my son's 5th birthday party and Captain Jack Sparrow was amazing!!! Thank you Grayson for making my son believe that the Real Captain Jack Sparrow sang happy birthday to him. Fast forward to 4 years later and my son is still into pirates. This made my son's birthday! Everyone I spoke to to organize his party was super nice and helpful. They were great about confirming and reconfirming all of the details. The pirate who came was amazing with our group of young children--keeping everyone together, in-line, and entertained. Everyone who came to the party was impressed. If your child loves pirates, this is definitely a must. And his pirate run was pretty amazing too. Worth every penny (and probably more).

Jack Sparrow (Grayson) was amazing at my son's 5th birthday party! He embodied Jack Sparrow and was very entertaining, for the kids as well as the adults. I was impressed with his improv skills and attention to detail. Great communication leading up to the party and responsive to special requests. One of the kids attending said it was the best party ever (because of Jack)! Worth every penny and the memories for my son are priceless! I highly recommend him for your pirate party!

If I could rate the Jack Sparrow who entertained at my son's 5th birthday party 10 stars, I would. We had about 70 people at Cameron's party (parents and kids), and I must have received two dozen compliments and praises on our Jack! He was not only very attentive to the birthday boy, but was also attentive to the other children. So, there was a good balance. When the kids went on the hunt for treasure in the front yard, he was also concerned about the safety of the kids. Had the privilege to be ask to go to this great fundraiser. We were entertained by the pirates for parties cast. They had pirate musicians that really looked the part and had a great sound to them. The props really made the pirate ambience complete.
Of course the pièces de résistanc was their Capitan Jack who was playing host and going around person to person making sure everyone was entertained. He did everything from jokes to fighting some of the guests with swords. It was like he was straight out of the movies.
They had a cool photo booth with props and what not.

I hired Captain Jack for my son's 4 year birthday party and he didn't disappoint! Captain Jack was the friendliest of pirates and had all fourteen kiddos in stitches the entire hour. Even the adults were cracking up at his antics and commenting on how authentic he is (think Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Caribbean! No joke, this guy is the real deal!). We were beyond impressed. When I contacted the company to tell them the pirate didn't show up and how do I go about getting my deposit back the guy answering the phone blamed me! Told me that I didn't confirm (I did, twice actually) and then asked me to email proof (so I did). He was sooooo rude, no apologies for RUINING MY SONS BIRTHDAY or any signs of empathy... I have been meaning to write a review for some time now. I hired Pirates for Parties, to have Captain Jack surprise my twins for their third birthday party last August, 2014.
After reading some of these reviews, I got very worried and almost canceled, however, I crossed my fingers and toes, and hoped for the best. I am so glad I didn't listen to the previous posters. We were all blown away with Captain Jack! His costume was authentic, he was wonderful with all the little boys and girls, and he really looked and acted like captain Jack with his accent and mannerisms!

I am writing this based on a HORRENDOUS experience I had at work today. We had asked for the Rio bird show and wanted to confirm with the guy when and what time he was coming. Not only did the person working customer service not confirm with us, he was extremely rude to all of our staff. He refused to give us the number of the guy coming to perform and gave us little to no information about what the show would be like.
