I'd give Kumba 0 stars if I could. Kumba's (lack of) professionalism was a complete & utter disappointment. Their inability to follow through with paid services makes for their poor & questionable business ethics. Especially when NONE of the decors arrived the day of our destination wedding (which we had spent 3 hours picking out in their storage unit). They ruined a moment so valuable & precious to us that we will never be able to get them back. We have no choice but to look back at the horror & embarrassment of an empty mandap/ reception hall witnessed by our guests

The ‏ worse service we have received :( . All the decorations set was not the same we have requested. I don’t recommend it to any one .

I’m the guy who had wedding events at (Casa de lago ) in Aug/ 01/2021 . If you review your work you would know me . Look below I have asked the one which in the middle of the Picture, then I received the other dirty one with no back drob . And I have the conversation for the owner when he told me at my wedding day ( the thing which you asked it’s unavailable) ….so that fair!!!

Hetal helped me and my family setup for my wedding on very short notice (less than four months time) in 2018. We have worked with him for every family wedding and his staff is very nice to work with during what can be a very stressful time. They took my number and texted updates during the setup the day of, and were extremely nice during my special day. High point: the DJ was excellent and worked with my super duper last minute song choices for entrances, and did an excellent job keeping the energy up for us to enjoy the dance floor. Kumba Events did an amazing job with mandap decor for our wedding! He was easy to work with and him and his team did an incredible job to make our vision come to life! They were all very prompt and had everything ready on time! Could not be more satisfied with their work! Will definitely work with Kumba Events again in the future!

Hetal and his Kumba Entertainment team did an incredible job with the flowers and baraat/ceremony/reception design for our fusion Indian American wedding in San Diego this past May. With just a few photos of a style we liked they were able to create absolutely beautiful flower arrangements. They offer basically all the wedding vendor services you could need, from DJ/lighting to flower and table arrangements, and have very competitive prices.

Hetal was recommended to me by a friend when I was looking for a company to decorate my wedding. I spoke to at least half a dozen other florists/mandap decorators and have to say that I am beyond happy that we decided to go with Kumba Entertainment! Hetal listened to my vision for what I wanted a executed it with perfection and precision! I was blown away by how beautiful our ceremony and reception looked! Kumba did the music for our baraat (with a dohl player), set up and decorated our Mandap and worked with Valley Florist Design for all our wedding day florals. The end result completed our fairytale

Hetal and Kumba Events decorated our wedding and reception. During our consultation, Hetal was able to draw out what we described and what he imagined would fit our requests. That was what helped us imagine how he would be decorating our events.

As for the decorations themselves, the wedding mandap was elegant and matched well with our outdoor venue and golf course background. The reception stage was magical with the starry night theme.

Hetal and Kumba Events can provide many different services for a wedding. We utilized three services for our wedding: A dhol player, a pagadi/turban-wrapper, and DJ services.

The Dhol play was great and added an extra element to the Baraat. The pagadi-wrapper made the Hindu wedding so authentic. And Kumba events provides the safas (cloth) as well.

For the reception, Kumba Events provided the up-lighting, DJ, dance floor lights and equipment. We've never seen so many people on the dance floor at once. Hetal did a wonderful job alternating between Hindi/Punjabi music and popular hip-hop

Hetal is definitely not the best communicator which causes for a crap ton of wedding plan stress that could easily be avoided . I believe he needs a personal assistant that is a people person because he is not. But he's creative! Within my budget, he traveled to Las Vegas and provided an elegant layout for my wedding! He provided thrones, head table backdrop, aisle swags, lighting, specialty linen, a fog machine, gold cutlery, floral centerpieces, and bouquets. Made the delivery on time. Brought exactly what I wanted. The rental items really made the event and pictures look awesome! Hard to get a hold of sometimes, but he comes through! Was recommended by family and I would recommend him any day.

Hetal was a great disappointment. We hired him for our son's wedding. Everything he did, was terrible.

He did not live up to most of his commitments. The decorations were below standard, the horse for the barat did not have the umbrella for the groom, the center pieces were below standard- just about everything that we had hired him was not delivered.

He would make appointments to meet with us and either show up a few hours late and then leave early or cancel the appointment last minute. He never ever returned our calls - not once.

I would very strongly dissuade anyone from using Kumba

Even though the day of turned out ok, it did not come without headaches. Very unprofessional about responding and being clear about making me as the bride feel confident in his work. The day of overall was ok, but he still forgot a few things. He also addressed many of our concerns last minute, making it very difficult for me to even know if he'll do the work well.

It's not worth the cheaper cost, because of the horrible customer service and lack of providing confidence in his work to his customers.

I had heard good things about Kumba from other friends of mine who went with Hetal to coordinate their weddings and was very pleased with my wedding planning experience. Hetal was very easy to work with, professional, organized, accessible, responsive and flexible when we needed to change things on him last second, clear and up front about costs. He and his team seemed intent on making sure we got what we were looking for. I must have known Hetal the "Hooter" for about a couple of decades by now and have been to countless parties DJ'd by him! He is by far the best DJ in town for Bollywood parties!

Definitley a one stop shop. Huge warehouse in the back so you can actually see what they have vs. pictures. Got more than I expected. Very reliable and very professional. We had Kumba DJ at our reception, and rented table covers, chairs, mandap, and extra decorations.

Please, look elsewhere for DJ and entertainment services. We hired to Hetal to do the decorations for our pre-wedding ceremony, and then DJ our reception. On the day of the pre-wedding ceremony he showed up FIVE HOURS LATE. Numerous phone calls went unanswered. Eventually we recruited family to start putting decorations together ourselves. He eventually showed up with some lame excuse.

For the reception we provided him with a program in advance as well as certain songs for dances that were going to be done. We provided the music for him, but he played different versions... messing up some choreography

So my sister's wedding was last Saturday and I was very disappointed in Hetal. Overall, the wedding itself was phenomenal and no one really noticed the little things, but me being the planner I was furious.
