The wait time was saddening, but it almost seemed worth it when the first appetizers came in. Peppery delicious chicken wings and delectable fries, but that changed quickly. When the shawarma came in, it seemed good, but a bite into it quickly showed it was nothing as what it looked like. There was no sauce, and the chicken in it was sadly mid. Afterwards, we got a rice tray with yummy looking kabobs surrounding it. There was a chicken kabob in there that tasted decent, and the rice tasted ok as well. The lamb kabob were not good and didn’t smell good either. The sauces could definitely be improved

This restaurant has the lowest quality of food with small portion sizes and it’s expensive. I was told by one of their employee to post this review because honestly they agree with my opinion as well, about how small the portions sizes are and absolutely not worth the money you spend. Rather eat anywhere else, never liked their food or customer service. The owner loves ripping people off! Shame on you a*****e!! Go back home.

I am sorry to say this but It just didn't do it for us. I think people who are native to the south Asian countries and like authentic flavors would not find it flavorful enough. I also had an issue with the freshness of the butter chicken and tandoori wings. The butter chicken sauce tasted too tomato-ey and the lamb seeks kabob had too much ginger in it. Please use more fresh chicken next time.

A delightful experience from the moment you walk in the door. (Located at the old Carraba's at the Shore Mall site) Tastefully decorated with plenty of room. Excellent service. Harvey (I hope that's his name, hard to tell with the mask on lol) was superb. Plenty of recommendations that were all spot on. A beautiful menu full of all sorts of flavors and tastes. Dive in! They accept cash and cards. There are a few stairs in the front of the establishment in the event of a wheelchair and while I didn't see a ramp, I'm sure if you call they will be happy to assist you. A wonderful experience. Thank

Quick comment - A must try if you are in the area, or if it's on your way while travelling. Also, I don't have photos to upload, as we gulped everything pretty quickly!
The chicken was cooked to perfection, unlike some places that serve rubbery and chewy chicken. My nephew who is 8 years old, asked us if it's paneer or chicken? That soft was it :)
We were in the Cape May area and while on our way back searching for restaurants. We wanted to go to Nizam because of it's less (3 min) detour time. But were skeptical about it because of the recent 3-4 reviews. While the recent

So I got off the island - b/c I needed some indian food and onto the mainland I go for a random Monday night.
For a random Monday - this old carraba location was busy and busy with Indian people. Now, I know I hit the right spot.
This place is delicious and while I'm not vegan - I appreciate the vegan options since I try to stay diary free (sometimes).
1) Love all the tikka masala (basic I know)
2) alo gobi (cauliflower/potatoes dishes)
3) Samosas
4) garlic nann and pass on the wheat roti
5) delish eggplant dishes
We had an all vegetarian meal and it was delicious. Yah to meatless Mondays

Great flavors, friendly waitstaff. We were not familiar with this type of cuisine and were given multiple recommendations, all of which were great. A bit of spice in the meals but great flavor and hearty servings. A good value and something I don't regret trying. I'm very interested in returning in order to try something else new on the menu.

We have been wanting to try Nizam's for awhile now so we decided to go. We were a little apprehensive due to us not knowing what to order or anything about Indian cuisine.
From the time we walked in the door throughout our whole experience everyone was welcoming and hospitable. I don't think there was one person who worked there that didn't come to our table and check on us.
Our waiter was so accommodating. He suggested plates for us to order and share and even went out of his way to make sure everyone was good. Wish I caught his name so I could give him credit.

From start to finish always a terrific meal. You can't go wrong with any of the dishes. They are all cooked to perfection. If you don't handle spicy food well ask for your food mild. The chicken korma and gohbi manchurian are my favorites. We all order something different and share the deliciousness!

I was in NJ visiting family when my sister suggested Nizam's. I had such a great meal and experience that I went back a second time before I went home. The garlic naan bread was great. We also had chicken 65 and chicken korma! It was all very flavorful and delicious...I'll be back when I visit again.

Always love Nizam's. The new location is really nice. Just doing take out these days and Nizam's is on the top of the list. Their food is fresh from scratch, have a vegan menu and the staff is always cheerful and helpful.
It's time to support great local restaurants like these. Order from Nizam's! You won't be sorry.

Nizam has been one of those restaurants that you always see and either you take the chance and go in or you wait until other people tell you it's good. Well I'm telling you that it's worth the try and I know that Indian food can be a bit daring for some people, however we've had very helpful servers who let us know what to try and based on our likes and dislikes they know how to steer us. I think my go to's have been the chicken biryani and the chicken or goat tikki masala along with some toasty naan (the husband and I love them all!).
