Excellent barbecue and worth the drive. If you have to travel one hour do it. Call to make sure they're opened in the Winter and order about a 1/2 an hour In advance as every order is made custom to you. The fried chicken was the most juicy tender fried chicken I've ever eaten.

Love love LOVE barbecue, and these guys take the cake for me. I can't stand Pic-A-Lilli's lacking quality anymore, and need a good fall-off-the-bone rack of ribs more often than I'd like to admit! Lots of flavor, smothered in sauce, just the right amount of chew and delicate-ness. #1 favorite place to go!

So glad to make it back before it closed for the season! Food was delicious and service was friendly as usual! Missed the banana pudding for dessert, but the cinnamon roll coffee cake was a more than worthy replacement!

This might be the best bbq restaurant I've ever eaten. First the flavors are out of the world. Second the portions size is insane. My wife and I ate here today and neither one of us could finish half of the platter we ordered. The staff is friendly, polite and attentive. We just happened to stop by in our way home and although we live a hour away we will definitely make this one of our go to spot

This place was amazing! Best bbq I’ve had in a while. The cornbread was to die for. I also got the Mac and cheese, mozzarella sticks, and fried shrimps. All amazing. Also got the bbq chicken, which was moist and delicious. Overall everything was great and will definitely be going back.

First time eating at Henri's. We ordered takeout. The ribs were tender and flavorful. I had the Mashed potatoes and string beans for side dishes also very good! Cornbread was great.

One of the best BBQ places in south Jersey for sure. Ribs are excellent and I love their BBQ sauce. They have delicious sides that are full of flavor. Additionally, they give you generous portion sizes with the sides, way beyond the portions most BBQ places provide nowadays. The wings have great sauce and have quality chicken meat as well. The customer service is phenomenal too, and all of the people who work there add to the whole positive experience of the place. Top of the line BBQ that has been in business for years for a good reason.

We literally drive almost two hours just to eat here and then go home. The fried chicken has got to be the best I've ever had. Ribs are unreal. Brisket is perfection. Sides are fantastic- my husband swears the collard greens taste like he's back in the Carolinas. The desserts are homemade awesomeness. We've eaten everything there is on the menu over the past ten years and never had a bad meal.

The absolute BEST fall-off-the-bone ribs. They have award winning fried chicken that reminds me of what KFC tasted like 40 years ago, before they became the fatty, grease soaked, mushy “original” that they are today. Henri’s fried chicken is juicy (because of the chicken’s juices, not grease) and the coating is crispy & flavorful, and as I stated previously, with a hint of that “other places” days of old, “secret recipe”. **Fried chicken tip to keep it crispy while in transport: I always remove the lid from the bucket or box, fold a paper towel and place it on top of chicken & replace

What happened? I heard about this place and was excited to be able to get a car to the place for a takeout.
I'll just get to the point.
Full Fried Chicken was just a HUUGE thumbs down. The Chicken was soggy because it steamed in the bucket, I guess. The breading reminded us of a TV Dinner Texture. The Breast was fair, parts of the piece was dry. It needed salt, some zing, The Dark Meat was more moist, by again very little flavor and NO CRUNCH to the chicken. This would not be even in my top 25 fried chicken places.
The side of Mac and Cheese was great, Collard Greens meh.

Best fried chicken, meatloaf, crabcakes...oh just about everything is the best at Henri's. Ribsxare tender and flavorful. Corn bread is so good. And desserts to die for! Service is friendly and attentive. This place is a gem and worth the drive when you aren't a local.

We used Henri's to cater our baby shower and we could not recommend them more highly. Everyone RAVED about how amazing the food was and even the pickiest of eaters called us days later to gush about the amazing food. Even more amazing than the food was Ruth and her staff. We walked in and were made to feel like family . Not only were we blown away at our tasting by the food, but by how genuinely nice and welcoming everyone was there. 10/10 will recommend to everyone we know!

Good food! Good people! Awesome service! I just wish they were open during the week. Everything I've had has been pretty damn good, not perfect but I love this place!

Henri's is probably my favorite BBQ joint. Haven't eaten there in a while because they only open during the warm months. Their ribs are tender and moist. They fall apart and have chewy bits. Their fried chicken is the best around.

Based on really good reviews, I tried this place multiple times. Over all avg, but nothing I'd be traveling for.

THE BEST BBQ. Family friendly family owned business. Never ever disappointed here! The fried chicken, Mac, corn pudding, candies yams, etc etc it's all delicious and made with love!!

Let me start with THE HUSH PUPPIES ARE AMAZING. Okay now that I have gotten that off my chest let me tell you this BBQ is worth the drive no matter where you are in NJ. We called and ordered our food (it took about 25 minutes) and took it 8 minutes down the road to three3s brewing. Just having the good sit in the car was making my mouth water. Everything was fantastic. The onion rings are the quintessential onion ring, you know the one you always dream about but can never find we'll order them here cause they are . If I HAD to be picky I would say the brisket was a tad dry BUT still better

BBQ is tough to come by in South Jersey and getting good bbq is near impossible. Enter Henri's. We had chicken, brisket, and ribs. The sides we had were beans, yams, Mac n cheese, and fries. I probably would go to the fries again, but they were still good.

Now I have to need a way to fit banana pudding, pound cake and cookies

Stopped in Henri's and got some BBQ. We were greeted by our server and he informed us on the QR reader that would let us see the full menu due to the COVID epidemic. We both ordered rib platters that came with two sides of your choice. There was 6-7 ribs and a huge scoop of each of your two sides. Each order also came with cornbread. The service was great and the food was outstanding. If you're going past on the BHP stop in and give them a try.

After a long debate with the husband we finally decided upon Henri's Hotts Barbeque for dinner on this hot Sunday. We ordered 1/2 of slab of ribs, a smoke slow platter w/ rib tips, 1/2 BBQ chicken platter and for dessert peach cobbler, and 7up cake.
Ribs and rib tips are FANTASTIC just need more bbq sauce! The meat just slid off the bone!!

Our sides were absolutely delicious!! The green beans were my favorite along with the black eyed peas! The Mac and cheese is cheesy and seasoned!

Randomly stopped here for lunch recently - and guys, I think they have it: the best Mac and Cheese above the Mason Dixon line. This is the cheesiest, gooeyist Mac and Cheese I've ever eaten in the tristate area (and it reheats with the same consistency!). The portions are completely out of control, giving you enough food for like two or three meals in one. The BBQ Chicken melts in your mouth, and the pulled pork is crispy and flavorful. It's true: this is definitely NJ's best BBQ joint right here.

Bonus points for being covered in hand painted signage which is a personal preference

Man...I don't get here often enough. The food is fabulous. Took my right-hand man from work tonight. Place was packed, parking tight but drive around back and park under the trees...it's OK. Everything delicious fall-off-the-bone BBQ. Inside the dining room all sports memorabilia. Years ago it was a shrine to Aretha Franklin...times change evidently. Slow paced for a reason, good things take time. This is NOT fast food - so says the sign on the door. I highly recommend, choose your side dishes carefully there are loads of them and they are all good. Only open in summer so get your act together

First time here and I can't wait to go back and try more of the food. Jersey is kind of a wasteland in terms of BBQ in my experience despite being strong in other categories, but this place delivers. Great quality and reasonable prices. Everything on my plate was solid. They have seating inside and the place was fairly busy on my visit but bo waiting to grab my food and go. Just bought a house nearby and happy this gem is right down the road!

I went for the very first time and was blown away by the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff! I would definitely recommend getting the "all you can eat" buffet option. Four overstuffed plates later, and I barely had room for desert. But the pineapple upside down cake was the perfect way to completely fill up at the end of a great meal!
I had just about every selection that was at the buffet and have zero complaints! At the end of our meal, when the server asked who used any salt or pepper on their food, and nobody out of the six of us

Southern style food served off the menu or buffet (buffet weekend only) serving ribs, pulled pork, fried chicken, roast beef just to mention a few choices with many many sides. Seating inside and out with off road parking.
Very friendly staff in this cozy but lively restaurant where locals frequent and others come as far as Florida to get a taste of this good food.
