David Meardon is a Sanibel Island professional photographer living and working on the island since 1981. Using his camera and creative eye, David documents events and captures the beauty of the area. A graduate of Oberlin College, he began his career as a photojournalist, initially with the Providence Journal and then with the Sanibel-Captiva Islander.
Participants will stay in David's historic lakefront log cabins on the north shore of Rangeley Lake during peak foliage season. Joining David again this year is photo educator James Corwin Johnson. Now based in Florida, James was for 12 years director of photo services at Yosemite National Park, and frequently return there for photo adventures.
Everyone needs a calendar! How about a calendar of your favorite places? David Meardon has created two distinctive calendars. One of the tropical island wonder of Sanibel and Captiva Islands and one of the beauty and tranquility of The Isles of Shoals. Each calendar contains thirteen unique David Meardon images that capture the essence of your favorite places.
