NorthStar practical and economical option for lead, asbestos and mold testing, along with air monitoring and we also provide training and consultation. Other than Lead, Asbestos & Mold, various other contaminants such as dust, bacteria, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) may invade indoor environments and cause health concerns for building occupants. Unfortunately, the ever increasing focus on energy efficiency has led to an increase in indoor air quality concerns by trapping more contaminants.
Specialty manufacturing process can contain a vast array of dangerous materials and compounds. NorthStar has a competent staff of qualified personnel and is associated with several Certified Industrial Hygienists who provide competent analysis for nearly any hazardous material. The Occupational Health & Safety Administration (OSHA) maintains a directory of permissible exposure limits for almost any worksite contaminant.
Many school districts and government agencies require written safety programs to address certain hazards which may arise from daily occupation of indoor areas. NorthStar is experienced, tailoring safety programs to our client's specific needs. Examples include indoor air quality standards, mercury protection programs, respiratory protection programs and lead/asbestos abatement project designs.
Dave, as most people call him, is our Owner and Senior Project Manger. You'll find him at his desk most days keeping a handle on operations, but he is also very active on project sites and performing testing. Starting with an environmental testing firm right out of college, it's been a one career life to this point.

Wanted a piece of old flooring tested. Looked them up online and drove to their North of Appleton location-no office there where their website said they were on Edgewood and N. Ballard Rd. Called the phone # and told them what I wanted & asked where they were located, also what it would cost to test my item-was told by the woman who answered "$50". Then drove to the Neenah location and was told $110. NO THANKS.

Had a great experience with NorthStar Testing! My wife and I bought an older home and were concerned that there was lead paint on the interior of the house. NorthStar Testing was onsite the very next day testing every wall, ceiling, trim, window, bath tub, and floor in the house with an x-ray lead testing machine. Aaron was extremely knowledgeable and hung around after our paid for time was up to explain proper removal procedures. NorthStar Testing also took asbestos samples from the house while onsite.
