We are located just off of Route 195 - About 15 minutes from all of these locations: Bourne Bridge off Cape Cod, New Bedford, Carver, Middleboro, Lakeville, and Acushnet, MA.
These are not your everyday bakery cupcakes. From Whimsical Sugar Butterflies to Asian Themed Wedding Cupcakes, our southeastern MA bakery creates specialty cupcakes that are a feast for the eyes, as well as the palate. Each cupcake is made from scratch and deposited into our gold and taupe fleur de lis baking cup, which is an elegant alternative to a traditional cupcake paper.
PLACE ORDER by Wednesday by 2:00 pm for Friday/Saturday - OR - 5 business days for other days of the week. Please provide us with your party theme or characters that you'd like to use - (for example: My Little Pony, or Paw Patrol including Marshall, or 60th birthday party in a Kate Spade theme).
You have to be flexible: No sketches of exactly what the CUPCAKES will look like will be provided (ie: it will be a surprise as to EXACTLY what the cake will look like).We will create handmade, edible decor that will sit on top of the frosting in the theme of your choice. You can send artwork, but they WILL NOT look like the photos.

SOME DECORATIONS: like flowers/berries/stand up decor can have a wire or stick inside to hold it/them up. Like a lollipop: the stick/wire is not edible, but the decor (ie: flower/character) is/are. Please remove any decor before serving, CHECK FOR wires or sticks inside and then remove the stick/wire and then PLACE decor onto your cake slices: most decor is edible.

We used Artisan Bake Shop for our wedding shower & wedding. For our wedding shower, Meredith & her team whipped together a cake in a weeks notice. You never would’ve known, because the details of the cake were so beautiful. It tasted even more amazing!
For our wedding we did a 2 tier cake, kitchen cake & multiple cupcakes options. Everything was to die for! The cake absolutely exceeded my expectations. Meredith & her team brought my vision to life & it was beautiful beyond words. I can’t thank them enough for helping to make our day so perfect. We can’t wait to work with them again!!

I live in CA, but needed to order a Birthday Cake for my nephew here in MA.
Meredith from my initial e-mail request, through specifics, payment and deliver instruction were really well thought out, professional and easy to process. Every communication from beginning until delivery day was very reassuring. Pandemic struggles makes simple things difficult, but Meredith made the experience excellent!
While I cannot 'personally' comment on the cake, the experience was a sweet one!

I only ordered macarons so I can't speak for anything else at this bakery. The frosting tasted good, but the cookies were hard as rocks. We left them out at room temperature as directed, tried them after an hour and again after 5 hours. We had to throw a dozen of these away because they were inedible. We will give this bakery another shot but won't order the "French Macarons."

Thank you Artisan bake shop!! I ordered the signature sundae cake for my grandmas 74th birthday. My family devoured the cake and all while doing it could not stop talking about how delicious this cake was. I've actually never heard a group of people talk so much about how delicious a cake is. While I could not enjoy it myself, the vegan apple pie was delightful and it was a nice change to be able to enjoy some tasty treats with my family! I reached out wanting to purchase cakes for my wedding. I asked to schedule a tasting, and was informed that they didn’t have any delivery options for the day of my wedding. I expressed that as we’re doing a fairly simple wedding, we don’t need a tiered cake, so we would be happy to pick up the cakes ourselves or coordinate a pickup through our caterer. They responded that that would absolutely be okay. The bakery then told us they still won’t schedule a tasting for us because apparently tastings are for “full service” weddings only. Small business and I've only placed two orders with them in the past but I've been very happy both times. I highly recommend this business. My only gripe is their website. It looks nice but is somewhat confusing and the ordering instructions are like applying to a university. Please simplify things. People shouldn't have to spend that much time on it unless they're trying to order for a wedding or similar event.

Meredith is one of the most warm, kind, talented people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and working with! She made the entire process easy as cake! Meredith was extremely patient and accommodating and helped us to put together a wide selection of deserts; she even drew us different options for a custom-designed slicing cake. She is extremely organized and had tons of pictures for us to look at; she was also easy to contact if any questions

We have bought multiple cakes from this Bakery. They have always been amazing in looks and taste! They offer gluten-free options which is great because we do have an allergy in our family. I was very surprised when the gluten-free cake tasted like a regular cake! I literally have my sons 2 year old birthday cake in my backseat at this moment and they did another amazing job. If you are in the market for a VEGAN wedding cake, this is the place. In fact, I can tell you first hand that this is the only bakery in Massachusetts that actually has their act together as far as baking a vegan friendly wedding cake. From our original sit down to the moment I put the cake in my mouth, Artisan was professional, reliable and knowledgeable. They worked with us to get us exactly what we wanted. Thank you for the delicious dessert table at our wedding. We wanted our guests to enjoy some great, seasonal, New England treats and they did. From the tasting through the end, Meredith was easy to work with. Our guests loved the cider donut holes, cranberry apple tart, and the chocolate chip cookies were amazing. Luckily, the wait staff put a box together of treats for my husband and I, otherwise we would've missed out. I highly recommend Artisan for your next special occasion.

Artisan Bake Shop did an amazing job creating the cake exactly how I envisioned it. The baker was so super nice and I loved that she gave us the option to receive a gift card to use for our 1 year anniversary to purchase a fresh cake. The cake not only looked beautiful but it was delicious! My guests loved the two flavors of chocolate cake with oreo cookie cream filling and yellow cake with strawberry cream filling. It was perfect!

Meredith and Tabitha are great people and their desserts are just as great. They made the cake for my wedding just a few weeks ago. And about 300 cookies for my traditional cookie table. They were so easy to work with over the phone and in the shop.
The cookies went over so well with my wedding guests that I as the bride barely got any at the end of the night.
The cake was perfect and exactly what I had pictured in my head for months!!!
I will be going back here for my next special occasion cake.
