Tung Tin Chinese Restaurant

I dropped a star due to limited parking in this area. This restaurant is located behind Seton Hall University on Irvington Avenue, across from Blue Ocean Chinese (which isn't worth visiting). I have been coming to Tung Tin since the late 90s when I was a student at SHU. I have seen the inspector come in and inspect the kitchen, so I am confident of their food practices and cleanliness. This is my go to place for Chinese, they are fast and their food is fresh. I've never had a bad food experience and they've never appeared annoyed with me or any customer. Chicken and broccoli is nasty. Chicken taste like rubber and the rice was badly cooked. The spring rolls are super small and taste terrible. Don't always trust reviews. This food was horrible.

Horrible, overcooked chicken wings, ribs smelled like a dogs breath. Only thing decent was the cheese wonton. Would not recommend. How can you get chicken wings wrong? I threw away the ribs, the smell was horrible. As a first time customer, that was a horrible impression on your establishment.

App was easy to use, appreciate the coupons. Food was delicious and delivery was quick. Driver was also really nice.

This place is my favorite. I eat in plenty of restaurants but to this restaurant I keep coming back again and again. The crew is very receptive and the cuisine they offer is so fresh and tasty. I never decline to have a decent meal in this restaurant. Highly recommended.
