We offer authentic African cuisine served in a relaxed, traditional setting with a full bar. Our authentic African cuisine reflects indigenous traditions of North, East, and West Africa. We also serve International cuisine with European and Asian influences. This diversity is reflected in our food, from the use of authentic ingredients to the traditional preparation and cooking techniques.
I'm always concerned when going to an Indian restaurant that it will be too Americanized- you know the type: everything deep fried, no authentic flavor for fear of upsetting mass diners, and most disappointingly don't challenge your threshold for tolerating heavy handed spicing. Formerly known as the uninspiring "Indian Express, " Taj Tribeca serves up some grrrrrrrrreat Indian In Tribeca.

I wonโt be coming back to this place. They gave yellow rice with vegetables and was telling me it was coconut rice. I even gave them the benefit of the doubt and tasted the rice and like I said, itโs yellow rice. If you was to google coconut right, youโll never find this. The stew beef was way over cooked. Dried tough beef. Not worth it.

Traveled from upstate to New Jersey for New Years, was excited to find an African restaurant near the Hilton we reserved, as there is nothing up where we live. Ordered food well in advance and was excited to pick up. My husband is Nigerian and he longs for food from back home so we were pretty excited to find this place. Food was DISGUSTING! Ogbono soup was not real ogbono soup. Meat was rough and not cooked properly. Bland and did not possess authentic Nigerian flavor! The worst part is the next day he woke UP THROWING UP sick as ever! Not to mention the little girl who took our order was rude

I love this place. It plays afro beat music how I like. They serve african dishes like jollof rice. Food, impeccable! As you can see, I bought two dishes. I ate one and took the other one home for lunch the next day.
The drink was also tasty. I didn't get a chance to stay for the party later on in the night but I am sure everyone had a great time. Look forward to going back for my birthday

There is no way an upstanding Nigerian is running this circus! If your offering jollof rice...and I ORDERED jollof rice. Why am I receiving WHITE rice???? Please make it make sense. Abomination. The manager is trash, how are you running an establishment, and are NO WHERE to be found! I called to ask about my order, mind you i work at a hospital im a specialist You're, I don't have time to be running back and forth! Get the order right the first time,or take it off the menu! * this is what you call FALSE ADVERTISING* aka 419! You're better off ordering from other Naija restaurants (irvington, newark

I honestly wish I could give zero stars. I could have just believed the reviews about how horrible this place is. Got there and had to wait over 45 mins to get someone to take our order for drinks and that only happened because I walked over to a waiter and asked if they forgot we were there. She came over and only took our order for drinks and left again. Everything was so slow. Fast forward to when we finally got our food an hour 30 mins later. It had absolutely no taste, so bland and just cold. It was so disappointing. Paid almost $200 with tip included that they obviously didnโt deserve.
