Services
Since 1999, Great Denver Iron has provided structural steel welding and fabrication for the commercial, industrial, manufacturing, and government sectors. We operate out of one location in Denver near I-70 and Colorado Blvd. on 4975 Jackson St. We have a total of 20,000 sq feet of shop space. Our shop is fully automated with the addition of a six axis robotic plasma fabrication machine.
Our entire team's dedication has enabled GDI to develop exceptionally successful quality, productivity and safety initiatives-programs which yield both human and economic benefits for customers and employees alike. Our commitment to safety and a recognized quality assurance program provide our customers exceptional production and service quality on an accelerated schedule (see graphic below).
GDI has earned the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) Standard for Steel Building Structures Certification. Only 5% of all steel fabricators in the entire Western U.S. hold this certification! AISC Certification sets the quality standard for the steel industry and is the most recognized national quality certification program for the structural steel industry.
From typical framing studies to total structural systems, including project costs and schedules, Great Denver Iron and the AISC Steel Solutions Center can provide you with up-to-date information and innovative solutions for your project! Evaluation of steel framing systems for project specific requirements including low floor-to-floor heights and vibration.
GDI specializes in liquid applied coatings with a technologically advanced blast system, state of the art paint equipment, and processing completed in an environmentally controlled and certified paint facility. In our 25' x 16' x 45' paint facility, we can prime and finish coat all custom steel fabrications per project specifications or to our customer's unique specifications.

I was out ridding my motorcycle and & had my plate tear off due to high winds.. well I almost died, the plate bracket snapped off the frame - I quickly google search welders around me and I went to 2 other places before this one & they heard my story let me pull my bike in & didn't even charge me - but I gave the welder a tip and thanked him with all gratitude & the manager or asst. manger that let me was great!
would love to come back and take photos of my bike here !
