Services
I am pleased to have my husband, Jay, at home working with me in this rewarding business. He has been a part time helper from the time I started childcare, and a full time partner in the business since 1998. He loves the children and this occupation as much as I do, and the children adore him. This also allows us to offer summer field trips, swim lessons and movie days.
It is my goal to care for your children in a stable environment with developmentally appropriate activities for all ages. To help your children feel comfortable and safe while they learn and interact with others, we choose to run our childhood care center in our home. Normal life as usual will carry on in my home much the same as it would in your home.
Young children are active learners who need to learn through a variety of activities. One of the ways that children learn best is by playing. We have a variety of building materials, games, and other play items that help make learning fun and exciting! Our program provides a balance between child-initiated, free-choice learning and teacher-directed instruction.
Fees are based on a maximum 10 hour day. They include all activities, materials, meals, snacks and transportation to and from selected schools. Since our fees are based on booked days and not actual attendance, please note that refunds and credits will not be given for days when your child does not attend.

We loved Dana's Kids Child Care!
It's based out of their house but it's not like the other in-home day care places we looked at for our 1yo b/g twins. We were on the wait list for a child care facility associated with my employment, and we looked everywhere for weeks to find something for the interim. Everywhere we toured was not a good fit. They were either affordable with openings, but not where we wanted our 1 year olds to spend their days, or really expensive (like almost double what Dana charges) with months long waitlists (and we got on them all).
Then we found Dana and Jay. They were lifesavers

Dana and Jay have been watching my four children for several years now and I would t take my kids anywhere else. I always know they are being taken care of, I know they are safe, and I know they are learning good values while they are there. I had so many bad experiences with daycare and the though of going anywhere sounds terrible. My kids love it here with them. They are amazing!
