When attending classes taught by any of our instructors, you can be secure in the knowledge that the instruction comes from a solid education fused with a personal passion for yoga. It's natural to feel intimidated the first time you enter a Kerrville yoga studio, even at The Yoga Space. Remember everyone in the studio also had a "first class, " including your instructor! One way to gain confidence is to practice at home and slowly incorporate yoga into your lifestyle.

Yoga is a low impact workout that links breath with movement for physical, emotional and spiritual benefits. While yoga is rooted in Hindu and other Eastern traditions, it has evolved over thousands of years to reflect a variety of styles and disciplines. The word "yoga" comes from the Sanskrit root "yuj", which means to yoke the spirit and physical body together.

Just finished taking the beginners class with Martha. What a great instructor and a class. Had never taken a class before and Martha was so helpful with the poses and asking and answering questions. I am very much looking forward to her next set of classes and highly recommend the Yoga Space to anyone!
