The Home Equity Conversion Mortgage (HECM) for Purchase allows seniors at least 62 years of age to purchase a home through a reverse mortgage. This can be a valuable option for seniors who need a new home that better meets their physical needs, or who wish to move closer to family members. Since this is a reverse mortgage product, monthly payments are not made on the new house.

Great Florida Lending has a great asset and his name is Mr. Lopez! He was very well mannered and transparent when he was explaining the process of having a reverse mortgage. Mr. Lopez insisted that I gather as many concerned family members as possible so he can talk to all of us He kept asking of we had any questions and kept asking if we understood what he was saying. We have tried to refinance with our current mortgage company and they were absolutely horrible! We had had our mortgage with them for over ten years with excellent credit and payment history.
