Individual counseling is a process in which the client and the therapist meet to explore areas of emotional and social difficulties, which are affecting the client. These concerns may occur in school or in work performance, in relationships, or in everyday living. People seek out individual counseling to examine various aspects of their lives and the difficulties they may be having in solving some of their problems.
No matter where you are in your life, you are always looking at reality through your own perspective. This is where the power of a coach can be life-changing. A coach will have different experiences that allow him or her to see your issues from a healing perspective. A skilled coach can show you many resources, where you may see none.
Country Crossroads Counseling is one of only a few places in the Kansas City, MO, area that offers animal assisted therapy with both dogs and horses. The teenage years can be challenging for teens and their parents. They have many new pressures not encountered in childhood, and may not react in the healthiest ways to the problems. What once was a note passed in class is now a post or tweet that can be viewed instantly all over the world on the internet.
In addition to our traditional in-person counseling sessions, Country Crossroads Counseling, LLC is pleased to offer private counseling via Zoom, Facetime, or phone. We use these sessions to provide clients with counseling who are unable to make the drive due to health reasons, time, distance, or other extenuating circumstances.

Tried to call and make an appointment as a new client. I fell in love with the place because of their website and was so excited to try their therapy. Thought I was making progress during the call when I was hung up on. That was incredibly rude! I couldn’t believe it until I looked at my phone, I will give them an extra star in case if it was technical instead of on purpose. Even then, there was no call back and I was not getting any professional vibes. Do not recommend this place.

All of the counselors are amazing!! Truly caring, dedicated, and hardworking! All of them really listen and make sure the needs of their clients are being met. Also, the dogs are quite affectionate and adorable! The location is beautiful! I honestly can’t recommend them enough! Also they’re excellent marriage counselors who make sure the advice is practical - it just requires putting in hardwork.

Horrible marriage consuling, ended up causing bigger problems, I wouldn't recommend this place they seem great until you actually need them and the therapist doesn't remain a neutral party and starts siding. Might be good for non marriage consuling. Have since been seeing another counselor and much better results.

Compassionate therapist in a relaxing environment! The uniqueness of the office alone made this place amazing! I loved being able to walk in the woods with my therapist during our sessions. My therapist was super helpful in helping me navigate some big changes in my life and taught me skills that helped decrease my anxiety and increased my motivation.

This place helped me while I was going through a really rough time in my life and with my relationship. I was impressed with the compassion and insight our counselor had. I'm back on track now and would recommend anyone to this place, neat atmosphere too. Right up my alley with horses, dogs, and the country.
