Services
You may wish to consider replacing your air conditioning or heating system if it is old, inefficient, or in need of repair. Today's systems are as much as 60% more efficient than those systems manufactured as little as 10 years ago. In addition, if not properly maintained, wear and tear on a system can reduce the actual or realized efficiency of the system.
AL's Comfort Technologies was originally founded in the Mid 1960s by Alfred and Beatrice Yost and Ray Borman (thus the name, "AL's") and officially incorporated as AL's Heating Service, Inc. in 1960s. Purchased in 1970 by Robert Smart, the business moved to 7530 N. Pisgah Dr., West Chester, OH, where the company had moderate growth through the recession.

I'm writing this review to give our experience with Chris Cox and his team. Chris initially came out to the house to service our old(on last legs) HVAC system after we had paid a lot of money to another company to fix and still had problems. We agreed we would contact him in the spring to replace with a new unit. We called at that time and he explained clearly what installing a new unit would look like and gave us a few choices and prices. We decided and he and his team showed up on time, did a great job working efficiently, told us what they did and were done. The furnace and AC works as it should

Very disappointed.
They do not wear a mask in your home without asking and then not over the nose. Ridiculous. Be respectful of others no matter what your thoughts or beliefs.
Also not a great sign when technician has to call multiple times to diagnose the problem and when hanging up loudly calls the person a grumpy old man.

My furnace broke as they always do at the very beginning of a long holiday weekend. I called to see if it was possible to come out, and was pleased they had an on-call technician available. The upcharge for the call was pretty modest, which I also appreciated. But in talking to the tech ahead of him actually coming out, he asked a few questions and definitively told me what the issue was. Two follow up questions later, he definitively told me it was now something else. He also told me that it probably wasn't even worth getting fixed as the furnace wasn't even worth the amount of a variable speed

Please do not use Al's for service if you expect the repair to last. Al's fixed my AC two months ago and now it is not working. Instead of coming back to check out what went wrong, Al's wanted to charge me all over again. I had to issue a refund to a renter because the AC stopped working which cost me 200. Not a good way to build a supportive referral network.

Rich has been a big help with my properties. Over the last several years, Al's has replaced 3 AC units for me as well as doing an entire system design and installation for anther project. They also corrected some flaws in a system that was installed by anther contractor (One Hour Heat and Air...my tenant called them while I was not accessible). Great customer service and dependable.

My daughter rented a house from him with a new heat air unit in it. She had change the filter every couple days it was discussing on the google review of this company other said that happen to him from his unit He claim it because she had 1 dog. The roaches in his rental was awful he claim she brought them. Absolutely a lie the rental next door… had dead dog for several weeks he wouldn’t take care of. He has bad temper. Probably because of all his law suits and prostitution problems in why he had leave city council. My daughter broke her lease in which he accepted he said he would

We called Al's based on the recommendation from someone who used to work for them. We scheduled service for our AC on 5/9. Technician came out and determined issue. We were told that we would receive a follow up call to schedule service. We had to call back in because the office manager never called. We were then scheduled 8 days out! The technician returned and proceeded to spend time whining and bad mouthing the company. He eventually started in to repair our problem only to have to stop because he did not have the correct tools/equipment with him. The technician stated he would returned

These guys added an April's Air humidifier to my furnace a couple of months ago. .Yesterday, water was literally pouring from it and caused quite a bit of water damage to our carpet and adjoining bathroom wall. We took pictures where you can actually see the water coming from the unit that we showed to the tech that came out. After 20 minutes of inspecting it, he couldn't find anything wrong with it and tried to blame it on everything but the humidifier, stuff that didn't even make any sense. Maybe because I'm a woman, he thought I wouldn't understand how stupid the things
