From the front office to the exam room, our practice is made up of professionals who take your oral health very seriously. Using state-of-the art equipment designed with safety and efficiency in mind, we are able to offer top-notch care. As you walk through our office, you will notice that everything is clean, comfortable and thoroughly sterilized.
As a dentist, I have been treating my patients in the Greenbelt area since 2000 and I still genuinely enjoy what I do every day! The friendships I've made with my patients and their families over the years mean a lot to me. It is my goal to always treat patients as if they are an extension of my own family.
Your initial appointment usually will consist of an examination and review of your treatment options. Usually, treatment can be done or started the same day as the consultation. However, a complex medical history or treatment plan will require an evaluation and a second appointment to provide treatment on another day.
Oral Hygiene is necessary for eliminating bacteria in the mouth. Bacteria builds to form plaque that can harden and lead to long-term ailments such as gingivitis, a mild form of u periodontal disease if it is not removed. A good dental care routine and regular check ups will keep your mouth healthy and prevent inflammation, infection, decay, and tooth loss.

Dr. Shakoori took plenty of time to explain everything and why it needed to be scheduled as it was. And the technicians there never felt rushed and were pretty much the first place that has gotten decent bitewing x-rays for me.
It was my first visit, and the bulk of the work remains to be done, but so far so good!

The Dentist here all wonderful the doctors here oh wonderful the front Desk they communication with the patient and what they need sucks if you didn’t have to go through the front Desk I would’ve gave them five stars and every single time I come here have to repeat yourself to three different people that they do not communicate with each other

I have been to m any dentist over the years and I always experience dental phobia. I have never experienced this with Smile Arts and Dr. Shakoori. The staff are wonderful and I feel so comfortable, I have no fear coming there and feel so relaxed I am inclined to doze off in the chair. I recommend Smile Arts to anyone, especially anyone who experience dental phobia.
