I am a real estate agent and was representing the seller. Nexa was representing the buyer and had the file for almost 2 months because we needed time to find a new home for my clients. The day before closing, they said they couldn’t read the escrow check (even though they had it for the entire time) and closing was delayed. Keep in mind that my sellers have already packed up their home and can’t buy their new home without this closing. Said it would close one day late. Next day, now they found a typo in the home insurance policy and can’t close again. Again, why wasn’t this found sooner

I would give zero stars if that was an option. This company apparently does not have local resources at least in Wisconsin. Apparently the local agent for Nexa is Bernard Davis. There are numerous complaints about him but he keeps working. I am involved in a transaction that was scheduled to close 11/22. Nexa via Bernard Davis is the mortgage lender for the first time home buyers purchasing my buyer's property. Due to his negligence and blatant disregard of all parties concerned this closing has been delayed multiple times resulting in heartache and costs for everyone involved in both

I recently made a purchase out of state in AZ. Anthony DeMaria was the referred lender. He stays present during the entire escrow. Present, motivated, honest and organized. Will recommend to any serious buyer. I know the difference between a good and a Great lender. Anthony is that Great lender. As a first-time home buyer, Kevin Gallegos made sure to explain everything to me step by step. He went through all of the documents with me and made sure that he answered all my questions. He was very accessible by phone, text, and email. He helped my home closer sooner than expected! He was so prompt in processing any loan documents. Thomas and his team are top notch! The communication is great, they are fast and friendly, and Thomas really does his homework and get to know you as a customer. I had the absolute pleasure of working with Andrew Hobstetter!!! He was amazing!! He walked me through the whole process effortlessly. He answered my questions so the I could understand everything. Wish I could give this company a 0. As a first time homebuyer, they qualified me without running my credit then went through two other company. As a single mother of two dependents, I somehow could not qualify for a grant. I stated in the beginning that I did not want to pay over 1100 and because they worked in kahoots with my piss poor realtor, she thought it was ok to go through with the loan and pay a $1300 mortgage plus $150 in HOA. These people make promises that they can't keep. Ran my credit MULTIPLE times then acted as if they didn't. Wrote letters lying through their teeth. I

I worked with them in CT and GA. Both became unresponsive after they pulled my credit and pre approved me, so I was never even able to get an offer in with them nor refinance. My lenders were Tyler McDaniel in GA & John Motowidlak in CT. I would not recommend this company, everything seems super nice and easy from the start, but as you can see by the reviews, total waste of time AND CREDIT!

This place is horrible. We found a home we really wanted and our loan officer Steve was the worst. He would never follow up with us, gave us excuse after excuse as to why we couldn't get the house. And he initially tried to rob us saying that the best he could do was give us a 6.25% interest rate during a time of record low averages (2.8%) and told us we could refinance 6 months down the road. This guy is literally a joke. Our journey together ended by him telling us we didn't make enough money and that there was no way we can get the house. We reached out to another company who ended

Worked with my loan officer 4 years ago while he was at a different company. Had nothing but great things to say.
He has since made the move to NEXA, and the process has been unresponsive at best. I submit information & hear nothing back. Email questions, get no reply. Send a follow up where I get a reply stating he'll get back to me the next day, then hear nothing.
It's been nearly 3 weeks since the last contact, so I sadly had to email him to notify I'm restarting the process with another mortgage company.

I never looked at the reviews ..until I started having so many problems... and it was literally problem after problem and none of it had to do with us. So many lies it was unbelievable. At 30 days into escrow they switched contact person! At 38 days into Escrow they came back and said they can't lend on that type of home, after reassuring us they could.... they came back and said to us, did you know it was that type of loan ?? Umm yes we did and so did you!! We had told them from the get go!
