With a nod to the nostalgia of MGM's grand musicals and Hollywood's silver screen sirens, Colette Brandenburg and Shannon Zimmerman co-founded the LA Follies in 2012. Inspired by past and present Hollywood films, from Busby Berkeley's dizzyingly wonderful Gold Diggers of 1935, to Funny Girl's comedic take on Ziegfeld Follies, to the opening tap sequence of The Temple of Doom, they aimed to create a company that captured that moment in time and shared it with today.
The LA Follies has since grown into a company that infuses a dash of inspiration from the grandeur of the Hollywood heyday, mixed with a bit of pop spectacle prevalent in the Los Angeles entertainment scene.Specializing in immersive events and TV/Film creative, the LA Follies have become known for our elite performers and fully customized event experiences, assembling a diverse client list of revered brands, venues, producers, and celebrities.

The LA Follies performed at our holiday party this year and it was amazing!! They performed three numbers, got people on the dance floor and mingled with guest, for a very reasonable price. Everyone loved it, they were so professional and entertaining, and they perfectly set the mood for our 1920's themed party. I would give them 10 stars if I could. I cannot wait to book them again!

The LA Follies performed at my birthday party and were amazing! Their first act transitioned my guests from dinner to the dance floor. Guests gathered around the edge and were infused with the energy of the dancers! When the number ended, the dancers pulled guests onto the dance floor and the party started rockin'! Later in the night and after I blew out my birthday candles, the LA Follies fire dancer took the floor and really FIRED UP the crowd with a truly unique act that had my guests hooting and hollering and then resuming the dance floor.
