Since 1947, the Spokane Home Builders Association has been committed to protecting and promoting the housing industry. Serving seven Eastern Washington counties, SHBA is over 700 members strong. We are professional home builders, architects, remodelers, suppliers, manufacturers, and sales and marketing professionals who believe every American deserves the opportunity of homeownership.

Services
SHBA Government Affairs represents Association members at all levels of government. Staff and members monitor, testify and report on issues including impact fees, environmental policies, land use and a multitude of other issues impacting the residential construction industry. Each year the Spokane Home Builders Association identifies and evaluates candidates for office that represent the values and principals of the local building industry.
SHBA PAC works to identify and support the candidates for elected office that best represent the values of the Spokane Home Builders Association. Submit a written questionnaire on their understanding and positions on issues critical to the building industry. Complete a civil and criminal background check provided by the nonpartisan Candidate Verification service.
Membership in the Spokane Home Builders Association offers many ways to grow your business through member to member connections. One of the best ways to get involved is to become a part of a council or committee. If you are interested in joining a committee, contact the committee staff liaison.
