I specialize in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology. I value tailoring my approach in therapy to your child, because I know that people usually come to me after having already tried many of the most common methods. My approach is most strongly rooted in providing a mix of evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

I invite you to talk with me about your needs and my services, so we can find out if we might be a good fit. You can contact me at 503-928-4182 or info@CDavidMaxey.com. I'm often unable to answer the phone, so if I don't answer your call, please leave a message with your availability for a return phone call.

Kids who have difficulty managing to complete tasks in a timely manner can use a visual timer to help them stay on task as they develop a sense of time. Parents have the right to request an evaluation for Special Education eligibility, which is a process that can take many months from your request to an IEP.
