Born and raised in Switzerland, Toni's passion for fast cars and anything mechanical started at a very young age. Soon after graduating from high school he proceeded to sign up for an extensive 4-year apprenticeship with Ford Motors, which he completed with honors. As Switzerland is known for, precision, quality, and perfection are among the many traits Toni was trained on, which he embraced and continue to practice.
Nothing is scarier than being on the road, peacefully driving your car to work or the store, when suddenly something happens to your vehicle. Whether an emergency light goes on for seemingly no reason, your brakes start giving you trouble or your car has been in an accident, we can help. Our specialized mechanic will thoroughly check your vehicle for issues and identify the problem right away.
The check engine light monitors emission controls. A loose gas cap, or a bad sensor could cause excess emissions that will turn the light on. In many cases engine performance will not feel any different, but sometimes the engine may not run correctly. The check engine light does NOT monitor engine oil level or coolant level, please pay attention to those warnings.

Recently, my husband's BMW had a problem, and he went to this place, was attended by Tony and another guy, these guys are very honest, friendly and very professional in their line of work. My husband agreed to their estimate on the repairs and the car was fixed the same day. I highly recommend Star Motors for its good quality of service and its highly qualified staff.

They are great mechanics and give excellent customer service. I needed a quick oil leak repair and brake fluid change in my BMW, and Tony got me in the next morning. They were very honest about the oil leak, caused by a faulty oil filter gasket, from a cheaper oil filter kit (my mistake). Tony even cleaned the oil mess up in the engine bay for no extra charge. Fair price for oil and brake fluid changes.

I just went online to get Toni's contact information for a friend who just purchased a new to her used Mercedes. I noticed there are only 6 reviews here for Starr motors and I figured I would add to the list.
Toni has serviced 3 of my Mercedes cars since 2005. I would and do recommend he and his shop to anyone owning a Mercedes. Toni is the type of person I would trust dropping the car off with and asking him to do what he thinks best knowing he does quality work at a fair price.

As I suffered the ever increasing costs of maintaining my 2001 Mercedes with the Walnut Creek dealership, I was seriously considering replacing it with a Toyota as I could not afford the high costs of repairs to keep my Mercedes reliable. Thankfully one of my clients recommended Toni at Star Motors and the difference is night and day. He is exceptionally sharp and knows these cars inside and out, and more importantly he knows how to fix them for a reasonable fee. I have found him to be completely trustworthy and I am so confident that I don't even ask for estimates, just ask him to treat it

I've owned 3 new Mercedes and have only used Mercedes-Benz Fairfield for all my services. Another local told me about this place and I couldn't believe you could find a reputable place that provides the same quality service as a dealer but it is true! We have a 1988 560 SEC mercedes that had some issues, a friend referred us to Tony at Star motors. We had it towed there and within 20 min Tony called me back with a diagnoses !!!! We gave him the ok to go ahead with the repairs and he called us the next day to come pick it up!! It was done!!!!!! Tony knows exactly what he's doing, he knew everything about the car!!! he's also very reasonable in prices!!!!! Thank you Tony!!!!!!

This is the first time I've ever had my car serviced outside of a dealership, but I was sick of the inattentive customer service that I had been receiving there. I went to Star Motors mostly on faith, since there aren't many reviews here on Yelp for places within this town. It's been a few weeks and my car is still running fine! Tony even changed one of my low beam lights out for me, and did not make me feel foolish when I didn't realize that my car was screaming that its oil levels were low because, well, I hadn't checked them in a long time. Anyway, I'm just glad
