I am a non-confrontational person. I hate writing negative reviews (as you can see from my review history) but the more I think about this visit the worse I feel about it. I hope that this message serves as a warning to prospective patients.
There are a number of reasons why Dr. Anunson wasn't a good match for me that are more specific and personal to my own preferences, so I will leave those out and focus on the main issue I faced:

Our daughter age 10 was suffering from bells palsy, the right side of her face was paralyzed. We took her to Anunson chiropractic not only was our experience fantastic we saw IMMEDIATE results. Dr Anunson and staff were phenomenal, very inviting, professional and most of all made our daughter feel comfortable in the most worrisome time. all care and treatments were explained thoroughly and confidently. This is a great place and promotes health and healing.
I went in with back and neck pain.
Through education on healthier eating to reduce inflammation and supplements to aid with digestion and weekly adjustments I can walk and do normal activities without pain.
This healing journey would never have taken place without the Care at the Anunson Chiropractic office.

My whole family goes to Dr. Anunson for a consultation on our health issues. He is very knowledgeable about the human body and was able to find solutions and suggestions that no other doctor could. I am currently pregnant and have been having difficult pregnancy symptoms and Dr. Anunson has been very good at staying in communication with me via phone or email if I have any concerns I can’t come in the office to address. Since starting chiropractic at Anunson chiropractic, not only have I learned a lot about my body but my quality of life has drastically improved. With regular adjustments keeping my body in alignment and the benefit of supplements to support my body’s needs, my chronic inflammation has vastly decreased. In addition, my energy levels are improved, my emotions have stabilized, many pesky symptoms have abated and my weight is dropping as I adjust my eating habits and get proper supplementation. Would not recommend this provider - no instructions on what can be done outside of the clinic to help with pain, no health history during intake, adjustments are quick but done in a public space and without time to ask many questions. I'd echo what Heidi said - "If you have to ask him a question he will answer it, but he will start to back away while talking, heading to his office. He just doesn't seem to want to take any extra time, even though the adjustment, itself, is only about 90 seconds to two minutes."

I feel blessed to have my family be in Dr. Anunson's care. He is truly committed to his patients' well being and listens when concerns are shared and offers guidance and explanations. He knows that healing takes place on multiple levels (physical, emotional, etc). Dr. Anunson has been a godsend to our family. I'm not really sure the other reviewers have met the same man I have because he is warm, genuine, and desperately wants to help his patients in any way that he can. We started seeing Dr Anunson six years ago. My husband in his mid twenties was throwing out his back at least twice a year from old sports injuries (or so he thought). I'm sure this is the right chiropractor for some people but I was not one of them. I was also paying out of pocket and seeing him 5, then 4, then 3 times a week for several months (per his instruction). I knew we were eventually working on very old alignment issues so I hung in there but there were some things that were really hard to take.
He will not take more than 10 minutes with you, for one thing (on the few occasions you are in a private room someone will knock on the door at five minutes and he is gone). He does all adjustments in a public space with three tables so there is no privacy

I thought I would try to spare others, seeing as how Yelp is how I found this chiropractor:
I came here after years of chronic back pain while I was in between jobs. I was uncertain if my insurance would cover the treatments, so asked the billing people to make absolute sure that any work done would be covered.
After being assured that the treatments would be covered, I was quickly asked to have X-rays done, and then told I should start coming in 3x per week.
It was not until 6 months later that I would be told that the treatments would not be covered, and the 10% of the bill I was promised
