Utilizing the Rolf Method of Structural Integration, we aim to unify the physical body in form and function, improve the interconnection between its elements, and balance it in gravity. Inducing change in myo-fascial relationships reestablishes natural alignment and brings forth vitality and well-being.
Through the Ten Series, we participate together in this process to align and balance the physical structure, thus opening up the individual's movement potential. In unifying with gravity, the body can behave in a balanced way to provide greater freedom and ease and increased energy. And when we feel good, we can do good.

I have been practicing bodywork since 2007, and am honored to provide the healing power of therapeutic touch to clients of Kaposia Body Works. I am certified in several forms of massage therapy and Structural Integration, and the unconventional path that led me to this work infuses my process with passion, intuition, and empathy.
Structural Integration (S.I.) is a holistic bodywork method, also referred to as the Rolf Method, or Rolfing. Our key bodywork service is a process which focuses on the protective layer of the body's muscles, called fascia (also known as connective tissue).
While muscles are contracting tissues that give the body and organs physical movement, the fascia surrounds the muscles, bones, and organs to give muscles their shape and the body its structure.Persistent discomfort can result from the body being shifted out of alignment by gravity's continuous pull, the stress of daily activities, and physical injuries.

Making the decision to embark on the journey of bodywork services like Structural Integration or massage is best done thoughtfully. The answers to commonly asked questions are here to shed additional light on this important process. The two are mainly differentiated by their goals. While massage is generally focused on relaxation and alleviating acute stress on the body, S.I. is more process-oriented with the aim of aligning the body in gravity.
The gift of a service from Kaposia Body Works is much more than a relaxing spa appointment. Gift a loved one with an opportunity to experience a body that is aligned and balanced in gravity; with alignment comes greater freedom and ease, and increased energy. I have been seeing Kelly off and on for years, and am in awe of her anatomical expertise every time she treats me. She is continually growing her body of knowledge and expanding her skills, and there's no one else I trust as much for body work. My best day was when she was able to relieve me of weeks of nerve pain that had come about during Covid-closures once she was allowed to reopen - unbelievable talent!
