Originally set up to showcase The David Levin Swing Jazz Band and cabaret vocalist Regina Otto, DLE expanded greatly in 2003 by adding some of the outstanding show bands from Southern California. By 2008, we had added headliner jazz artists and classical concert artists. By 2012, we welcomed many of the top tribute artists based in the U.S. and Europe along with a show group on the East Coast.
You will realize what we've known since 2002 (when we first reached out to the Southern California show bands)-that ours are tops! Send us a "Request a Quote" and you'll find we also offer the lowest prices for these bands. You might find a wide variety of entertainment options available only in Las Vegas, for your event.
Some of these groups prefer bringing their sound techs with them when they travel, others don't. Some bring production assistants to their large-band performances while most of the other groups don't. Previous day arrival requires per diem or other compensation and is preferred when flying in entertainment from another state or region.
Our orchestras are based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Southern California, Las Vegas and on the East Coast. They have performed at The Mark Hopkins and Fairmont Hotels in San Francisco, The Hotel Bonaventure in Los Angeles, The Rainbow Room in New York and at many other noted venues. For Washington, D.C. performances, our NR Orchestra will bus in from out of town saving our D.C. clients airfares.
For the past 18 years, David Levin Entertainment has had the best small swing bands in the U.S. We select these groups according to their overall sound and performance. The bandleaders we work with are very talented musicians with decades of experience and are great to work with. They hire "A" players for their key positions (trumpet, for example).
