Did a load on 11-01-21 and set at the shipper for 5.5 hrs. Mattress Company, they built the product and loaded it as they built it. I have fought for the 1.5 hours of detention for almost three months. Had to threaten to file on their broker bond and/or contact the customer. I was told they were going to remove me from their system and pay the 1.5 hours of detention. It took me until 01-28-22 to get the detention and they removed our company from their system. I told them that was fine because we never planned to haul for them again.

Booked the load with Bedrock Logistics (Broker Brendan McDonald and Garrett Higgins)
Was a line from KANSAS CITY, MO to MILWAUKEE, WI
Were agreed on the load for the delivery at 8 am strict in MILWAUKEE, WI, as that was a job site delivery and the crew with the crane was supposed to wait for the driver. Once driver got to the jobsite, the receiver did not have any crane to get us unloaded as they did not even order it (Bedrock Logistics did not tell them that trucks are coming) .
Both brokers meanwhile were lying to my driver that crane is coming shortly, so he was waiting for more than 6 hours

Trip from NJ to Ft. Meters
Broker said drop trailer at 6pm pick up by 230pm next day, well it wasn't ready till 545pm. Arrived at consignee and dropped trailer, broker said it would be ready by noon on Monday Spoke with consignee Monday morning and he stated 3pm, so no load out of Florida today. Trailer will be under this load for 5 DAYS.....never hauling for Bedrock again. In Texas our word means something, very disappointed

I did a load for this company from Houston to Brenham, TX. I had a pick up appointment between 1:00 and 3:00 PM and arrived at the shipper by 12:20 and finished loading by 4:30 PM, they refused to pay detention time saying that the shipper does not pay for detention because it was a FCFS.
