Denise and Fulton Lovin, long-time Boone residents, started White Fence Farm Rentals in 2012 when they purchased a farmhouse with over 100 acres of land out in Trade, Tennessee. The farm was their escape, and they considered it their "home away from home" here in the High Country.
They quickly realized the land's potential, and after a friend had a beautiful wedding on the property, they began to market it as a wedding venue and a vacation rental.Soon after that, they realized a need for lodging in Boone, NC, so they purchased additional property in the heart of downtown, right on King Street.

We really liked how we could reserve the entire property for the week prior to our wedding. It allowed us to have the time for setup and really made us feel at home. At the White Fence Farm event venue, your guests can spend the night in our three-bedroom farmhouse, vintage campers, and they can enjoy unlimited tent/camping space. You can use our other White Fence Farm Vacation Rental Properties for additional guest lodging. We're also happy to refer you to other vacation rentals nearby.
FROM DOWNTOWN BOONE: Take Highway 421 north about 14 miles until you see our entrance sign on the left, immediately after a large orange metal building. Take the left onto Paul McGlamery Ln. and you will dead end into our farm, roughly 100 yards from the highway. FROM MOUNTAIN CITY: Take Highway 421 south about 10 miles until you see our entrance sign on the right, immediately before a large orange metal building.
We have two vacation rentals in the heart of downtown Boone, NC. We also have one in Trade, TN, which can function as a vacation rental home or wedding or event venue. This two-bedroom house is in the heart of downtown Boone, located on King Street. This home can accommodate up to six guests, within easy walking distance of everything downtown and Appalachian State University.
