Services
Hair by Mimi specailzes in south asian bridal looks and provides duputta setting, bridal updos, non-bridal updos, side-dos, down-dos, and outfit setting, to clients in the Washington DC, Virginia, and Maryland areas. Whether your event is formal or fun we have done the simple and elegant style to match.
The consultation is where we will get to know eachother and helps me understand the look you are trying to achieve on your wedding day. During this trial we discuss your desired look, what is needed to achieve your desired look, and even do a trial run. We invite all of our clients to have their trial in my studio in Bristow, VA at no charge.
Toll and parking expense must be reimbursed by client or charged to a hotel room number if applicable. Travel outside of Maryland, Virginia, or Washington DC must be discussed and agreed upon prior to booking. Travel fees may include, but are not limited to, air fare, rental car, lodging, and a daily per diem for food.

I hired Mimi for my family that came out of town and she was incredible. So flexible, quick to respond, accommodating and everyone was so pleased with her services. It's stressful when you're in charge of a large group and expectations are high. But truth be told she exceeded every expectation and made me look like a hero. HIGHLY recommended :)

Mimi did an updo for me based upon a photo I showed her of a style that she had on her Instagram page. She did it on location and came on time and did the updo perfectly. It was a rainy and stormy day and she said it so well that my hair didn't move much at all. I highly recommend her for special occasion hairstyles!

Mimi is awesome! As much as she is a sweetheart and an incredible mom, she is an amazing hair stylist. Mimi is very punctual and lives up to her word. I was very pleased with how quickly she could put together hair styles for myself, my bridesmaids, and my mom. Everyone was very impressed by her skills. She did a phenomenal job. Everyone looked great! I recommend Mimi as she is very professional and detail oriented. I will definitely be a returning customer myself.

I first worked with Mimi almost 2 years ago when I was a bridesmaid and she did my hair for my best friend's wedding. I had a lob and the hairstyle was a side braid with a bun. I was so afraid my hair was short but NOPE, she did it exactly to the picture the bride picked out.
