My name is Catherine Reeves. Owner and CEO of Pure1 Hair Studio. Hairstyling and making women feel beautiful has always been my passion. It's more of that than a business to me. I have over 15 years of experience including 10 years of being a master hairstylist and over 12 years of being a salon owner.
We do several methods of hair extensions; tape in/skin wefts and micro weft extensions. We are able to determine the best method for your hair type and lifestyle. We love Lashing here at our Pure1Hair Studio. Our passion is to do the eyelash very carefully to give a great look. A little before Christmas, I Came here for an Empress Luxury Treatment and felt wonderful, leaving. The before and after had no comparison. I felt like a brand new woman. I had an appointment with Angela Mitchell and she is my new hair stylist now. Lol! After one visit, I was sold. She was ON TIME which Is a plus! I had the worst experience with Catherine. She’s so unprofessional and rude! She lacks work ethics and lacks rapport with customers!! She over-processed my hair and ended up having three major chemical burns even after I kept on telling her that my head was burning! I will never go to this salon again!

I always tell her what style I am looking for, and she will work with you to give u the hair style you are desiring to wear. She has a blessed talent to know how to hook your hair up. If you’re in the mood of losing your hair I advise you to go to this place, I went in there for keratin treatment and I don’t think what she put is keratin, I went there 3 weeks ago and my hair still not done breaking and falling off. She burned my hair while I was there by leaving the product too long on my hair because she had too many clients at the same time. When she was done she knew she burned my hair and started cutting it even though I didn’t go for a haircut. I would never go back to her even if she’s the last person Doing hair now I have to find a way to hide all the broken hair

I love this salon! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Myself as well as both of my daughters get their hair done here. Between Catherine and De'Juana they have provided us with hairstyles that include: crochet braids, silk presses, box braids, weaves, and perms. We have been pleased with every style. Recommended stylists.

Horrible service, I was turned down because I was wearing my work uniform (scrubs)! CATHERINE failed to inform me as a client the proper protocol her facility decided to enforce before I drove 30 mins to her shop !!!! After arriving I was told we don't accept people that wear scrubs!!! Even though CATHERINE was fully aware that I was a nurse!! SECONDLY, my COVID results which was taken 4 days ago was sent to her, to show her proof that I was negative!!! Health care workers take so many precautions at work, way more than a non essential worker!!!! But thanks for making me feel unwanted!!! Mind

I have been going to her for awhile and she always overbooks her clients. I continued going to her because my hair started to look healthier and longer. Plus she is only Black hair stylist in Richmond. Today was the last straw! I came in to get my hair washed and wrapped and was there a total of 3 1/2 hours! She was so busy catering to her favorite clients that even a woman that came in after me left before me! She took more time to take pictures of her and recorded a video, while I sat there waiting and waiting for her to finish my hair! I tolerated her long enough! You have lost yet another good

I am so happy I found Catherine. I have been looking all over town for a stylist who can cut and do short styles up to my satisfaction and she is excellent!!!! Because I'm not your average bear , I love for my hairstyle to stand out when I enter a room. My hair is always unique when I leave and people are always asking me for Catherines info. Catherine has never disappointed me. Best stylist in the west (west Houston ) - Hands down!
