May has been a stylist for over 15 yrs. She has worked in many reputable salons in the surrounding Houston area. As an immigrant from Iran, her passion for hair was discovered growing up with her sisters and friends as she frequently was requested to do their hair for weddings and special events. After coming to America, she came to realized that her talent could one day help her be successful in a promising career that she loves.

Just got my balayage done today by Tea and I love it so much! Showed him a picture of what I wanted beforehand and it came out better than I hoped, very happy with the results! Friendly service and clean salon, would definitely recommend!

First time there and Vickie is a BLONDE NINJA! She took my sad, dishwater natural rooty balayage back to bright, vibrant full highlights with zero damage. Been highlighting for about 20 years and was shocked by how light she got me without damage; my hair felt healthier than it did when I walked in and has stayed that way weeks later. Huge fan of hers and will definitely be back!

Please do not be swayed by the (I'm guessing) sponsored ratings for this salon. I made that mistake. I also made sure to book my appointment with Tea (pronounced TEE), as that was the stylist consistently mentioned in the reviews.

I found the place on Yelp. Amazing staffs with nice and warm salon. I wanted an Ash-look hair, I tried to do it at home but failed. Then, I finally found a place with availability to redo my "art" work. The first visit was not as I expected. However, I didn't put a lot of hope on it so I didn't mind. Then, I got a surprise phone call from Tea, the owner ( he wasn't the one who did my hair). He said he didn't like how my hair turn out and he would like to fix it for me. LOVE this place!! I always go there to see Tea, he is THE BEST! He's the only person I trust with my hair and who has never messed it up. I had waist length hair and he gave me a pixie cut, which I would never trust anyone else to do. Once it grew out he also dyed my hair, balayage style and it turned out perfectly also. Just this past weekend he cut my hair into a short bob, again, it was amazing! I don't think he knows anything but perfection. Everyone else there is really friendly and they're all very professional, love it!

I was so excited to come here because of all the great reviews but I had a terrible experience. First off, my stylist didn’t wear a mask which made me extremely uncomfortable. Honestly I regret not just leaving when we started. Second, when brushing my wet hair absolutely no care was taken and she just whacked through it starting at the top even though it was very fine and tangled. Finally, she cut it all one length - even though I obviously had layers before - I didn’t know it was just one length until we were done. It was my first time getting my hair dyed, and tea was so so nice! I was really hesitant about the price, but he even lowered it for me, because he kk ew it was my first time. He treated my hair really carefully and it came out to be a beautiful balayage, that has lightened nicely over time.
He even offered to lighten it for me in two weeks for free if I wanted to. Super nice guy, and great service, that although is a little pricey, is totally worth it if you want to treat your hair well!

My first experience here was pretty good. I received a free deep conditioning treatment due to the stylist running a little late, I thought that was great customer service. I booked a second appointment but this time it was a much different experience. The stylist I booked my appointment with was there, but did not color my hair. Someone who was clearly in training colored my hair. I was not told about this until I was in the chair. I called them on the phone while at the parking lot because I was not having such a good morning. They took me in and Lucy gave me a layered hair cut. Looked really nice. She even gave spiritual wisdom. I enjoyed talking with her and her faith. She had a different technique to twisting one part of you hair, lifting it up and then cutting it in layers. Loved it

After visiting 5 other salons (that were highly recommended), I was ready to color and highlight my own hair until I heard about Tea and his expertise in color. I met with Tea for a consultation. He was knowledgeable and experienced and was confident that he can give me the look I wanted. I have black hair that is also grey with blonde highlights which needed touching up.
After the consultation, I felt very comfortable with Tea and set an appointment for color and highlights. Awesome, Tea did an amazing job. Happy

This was my first time here after failing to find a good stylist nearly home. The owner did my hair and boy was it a breath of fresh air. He gave me the exact trim I needed and added balayage into it for a low maintenance look. I went from frumpy mother to feeling good about myself. It took about 2.5-3 hours since I have such thick hair, but he knew how to handle my hair (another star). I was offered green tea to sip on and we took a break halfway. It turned out pretty good, not as dramatic as I initially wanted, but definitely looking better than before. Will come back here in a few months for

Had my first visit here last week and I have to say I really enjoyed it! I saw Nina and I will HIGHLY recommend her to anyone! She loves to color and did an exceptional job with my full highlights. She took the time to chat and really understand what I wanted. I showed her a picture and she assured me that she's "got this"! My blonde is vibrant but multi-tonal. My hair has life and movement and I'm so happy with the finished product. I'll be back to see Nina again~! Highly recommended!

Ladies if you need a hair touch up, hair make over, or hair cut definitely come and visit the crew here at Les Scissors they will hook you up looking like a Victoria's Secret model with soft locks and that runway ready hair
My hair is naturally dark and super thick, Tea did a light balayage on my hair and touched up my roots with keratin to smooth away my frizzies. The whole process took a little over 3.5 hours because my hair was so thick! I can't thank Tea enough for getting me vacation

I haven't had a consistent stylist in a long time but I think I have finally found one...Tea! He is an awesome stylist that has a great vision for what compliments a person. I came in just telling him I want a balayage and he worked his magic from there. Without having to give any additional requests, he was able to provide a great color and style! His intuition and skilled techniques are what makes him so great and on top of that, he's just a nice guy

This was my first experience with Tea. I found out about him through a friend, one of his relatives.
Truly, I was not disappointed. I got a red ombre, a very uncommon color for an ombre and one he had never done before. It came out AMAZING. I have never been happier with my hair result and I think I'm going to most likely leave my stylist of 4 years to see Tea because he is just that great. He's friendly and funny and his staff adores him. Can't wait to go back!
